Does anyone know when Sandoz or apotex will be realising generic oxycontin in Australia? Any feedback would be much appreciated ## Checkout chemist warehouse web inventory they have sandoz, it's says oxycodone not oxycontin tho... Are they the ssme? Same strengths tho. Trying to find out a solid Faye when mage available to public. I want my old meds back. Have suffered long enough with these plastic pill of Mundipharmas :-( ## I no someone that has boxes of it. Hi, I have been suffering in pain for years. The reformulated oxycontin does not seem to work as well as the old ones. I am prescribed 10mg tablets. In Australia there is now Sandoz generic oxycontin. I would like to try to see if it works better like the old ones. My question is does anyone know a pharmacy in Melbourne Australia that stocks Sandoz generic oxycontin? ## Hello jonsey from Melbourne. Any pharmacy can order the Sandoz generic Oxycontin for you, you just have to have the correct script. They do come in a 10mg dose. Your doctor, when writing the script, has to make sure NOT to put a 'tick' in the box that says 'no brand substitution permitted' so you will be able to obtain the generic brand, otherwise you will automatically be given the reformulation. These posts are yrs old... in australia this tablets have just arrived and ive had a day on them and have belly problems I have had pancritus and gall bladder taken out im scared re stomache and from wot ive read here u guys in usa have had no luck so I may be out of luck too. I guess I will jluave to wait and see if u can't get anywhere wot luck do we have? ## Ask Apotex or Sandoz australia for public release dates for new generic tablets approved by federal government here. Let us know! ## Mate I'm in Australia on methadone program... But my pharmacist said there is definitely a generic coming bout it's going through court. They've been made and are waiting on a ruling. Probably end of August. Try oxynorm. There only 20 mg but are just as good.
