Generic Clonazepam

There are all these conspiracy theories about clonazepam generics, the FDA heavily regulates these and cannot have > +/- 20% of active ingredient. I too favor the tevas, but those are the old school generics and I think we just have an emotional attachment/ placebo effect to with regard to them. These placebo/mental effects can cause REAL withdrawal symptoms (my psychiatrist is one of the top pain/anxiety management docs in Texas). Also certain message boards dont even allow generic brand comparisons because there can be no noticeable difference between generic brands in terms of the effectiveness, but there may be placebo effects on addiction/withdrawal. Does anyone have any non-anecdotal evidence to support certain generics being worse than others? ## If you really want to read up...

What is the best generic mine was changed too Qualitest. I am on 2mg TID and usually take Teva Pharm but that suddenly changed , know I could have it specially ordered but wanted to know if anyone else has had any experience with this generic and how it efficacy contends with other types of gerwic Clonazepam or Klonopin? ## I took it for awhile, due to anxiety over having heart failure, and it was Qualitest, and it worked great for me. I didn't even usually take the full dose, unless I was having serious trouble sleeping, I mostly took just a quarter of the tablet, or half. I was prescribed the 0.5mg tablets. But that is just me, the only way to see if it will work for you is by trying it. NDC code: 00603-2950 The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit formin...

I have recently learned the companies TEVA and Sandoz have both discontinued manufacturing clonazepam. I’m not the one to hyperfocus on generics, however, the new generic, Accord, is LITERALLY the ONLY Clonazepam generic around my area (at least 10 pharmacies, even the local style pharmacies). Accord is horrid. There’s even a non placebo proof with the blue chalkiness that covers the entire mouth as if it’s the blue ink when stealing bank money. It’s ALL over teeth, it’s worse than blue candy. This occurs if one even attempts to simply let it dissolve in the mouth - at least like I have been doing with all of them previously when I didn’t have a drink with me, or for breakthrough anxiety. I my own opinion, I believe there is a particular reason for su...

Hi all, just a few days ago I got a refill for my Clonazepam. The manufacturer has been changed, the pills are produced by Northstar. For the life of me I can't remember what the previous manufacturer was, I will ask my pharmacy. Anyway, I feel like I'm having withdrawal symptoms ever since I take the new generic. Nothing serious, but irritating. I'm only taking 0.5 mg in the morning and 1 mg in the evening. After taking the one in the morning, for the rest of the day I feel like I've forgotten to take it (which happens sometimes). Irritable, dry mouth, jumpy. In the evening I notice a difference too, but not as much, because I take the 1 mg right before I go to bed and I am taking an OTC sleep pill (actually gummies, brand is Olly) as well. It's takes longer to fall...

My 89 year old Mom has been on Clonazepam for years for sleep. The Actavis seems to work better for her than even the brand name Klonopin. She has had great difficulty finding another comparable version ever since Teva bought Actavis. She has tried several other generics as well without success. Thank you. ## I'm stuck to. I'm in withdrawal I had the pink one for 5 years, now, I can't focus, feel dizzy, off on general. Don't have a clue what to do. ## Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20% in the amount of the active ingredients. The problem, however, is that they don't have to measure against each other, which means one generic could be higher, or lower than another, and it could even co...

They only feel half as strong as they should be. I still shake after taking the 1mg pill twice a day. Is sandoz a better generic? I can get those? I am now taking blue c1 clonazepam that aren't scored and don't work. ## Hi . I been on klonopin one milligram for 7 months now. I normally get green pills that say teva on them. I went to Wal-Mart yesterday to get my refill and I got the blue klonopin your discribing. Says c1 on em. And they are not right at all. Very weak. And short lasting. My green teeva klonopin lasted 2 to 4 hours varying on how much anxiety I have. These new c1 blue klonopins last about 30 minutes. And it seems like the first ten minutes after taking the pull is just a rush of relaxation. Then the pill fades away drastically. Like I said they last 30 minutes. I...

What's the difference between clonazepam ip and regular clonazepam tablets any difference in potency ## No, some places just list the initials for the chemical salt it is derived from, however, aside from the slight allowable fluctuations in generic medications, Clonazepam is Clonazepam and one will be as potent and effective as any other. This medication may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, irritability and headache. Are there any other questions?

I have been prescribed clonazepam 1mg twice a day for abut 2 years now , and I heard that the brand name ( klonopin ) works much better because it s stronger and I heard it s more expensive too but if it worth it why not ... My question is : Can I switch from the generic ( clonazepam ) to the brand name ( klonopin ) with the same prescription that has clonazepam on it without a problem ? Will the pharmacy give me the klonopin even if my prescription says clonazepam ? I know it s just a difference between generic and the brand name but I m not sure if it s possible, Thank you ## Hi, Ray! How are you doing? There can be variations from the generic to the name brand, but they are only slight, so it isn't likely that it would be much stronger, unless you're very sensitive to medicat...

A small white pill which has DAN on one side, and 5658 on the other. ## NO! This is NOT Clonazepam, nor a related drug! 10 mg. clonazepam? How about yellow, scored tabs with "M" inscription? ## Clonazepam is not available in a 10mg dosage, the maximum dosage available on the U.S. market is 2mgs. As to yellow tablets, with an M imprint, there is one that has an M on one side, with a C over 13 on the opposite, which contains 0.5mgs of Clonazepam. Is this the tablet you are referring to? It is a Benzodiazepine, which is most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. It can be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Learn more: ## That pill you describe is most assuredly a cyclobenzaprine. Also known as flexeril. It is a muscle relaxer and is most common at 10mg. And true, klonopin would be a horrible experience at 10mg. ## I have ...

Hi, I just recently had to change to the teva brand of clonazepam. Just wanted to know has anyone experience jaw pain. I looked up the ingredients on some other brands and notice that teva has povidone as an inactive ingredient. Could it be the povedone ? ## Hello, Sarah! How are you? Various body aches and pains can be typical side effects of the Clonazepam itself, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient between one generic and another, this is permitted under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, so this one might be a little bit stronger than the one you were taking, which could cause you to experience more side effects. Has there been any change, yet? ## Dear Sarah I...

Has anyone tried generic clonazepam by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc., which is owned by Novartis AG? I just picked up my new refill of generic clonazepam 2mgs. Last time they had given me the generic Accord Healthcare which I didn't like. I inquired about Teva but had heard it had discontinued its generic clonazepam. Teva and Mylan were the only ones I liked, with Teva being definitely my favorite. This time they gave me the generic clonazepam by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc., which is weird, just like the Accord Healthcare ones. Yet they both feel different. The generic clonazepam 2mgs. by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc. have E on top of the numbers 65 on one side, and nothing on the other side, not even a score. They are white, completely round and very small with a smooth surface. I have...

Hi. There has been a lot of talk about generic clonazepam brands with many claiming something is just not right, people experiencing horrible withdrawal symptoms as soon as they get on these generic brands, people having seizures once again when they hadn't had any in years, people claiming they have to take 2 or 3 mgs of these generic brands for each 1mg of their previous generic brand like Teva or Mylan. I recently had a depression relapse and was taken to the hospital. At that time I had both Sandoz Pharmaceuticals and Accord Healthcare generic clonazepam. And I had been taking both generic brands in the previous 3 weeks switching them around. They were both 2mg tablets. Well, guess what? I took a bag of all the meds I was on and went bottle by bottle telling the nurse which ones...

I have been buying the generic Clonazepam from the same pharmacy for over a year. The drug distributors name is ACTAV on my bottle. This month when l got my refill, I noticed that the pill was a light yellow in color. The pill has been being white. The white pill is very bitter and stronger. This yellow pill is sweet and not doing much to help my sleep problems. I don't think this pill is made by ACTAV. ## Hello, Amanda! How are you? Yes, the one you were receiving is manufactured by Actavis Pharmaceuticals. What are the markings on the new ones? That information is what would help me discover the manufacturer for you. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, mood swings and irritability. ## What is the ...

blister packs, red-orange color, no markings, Jpee manufacturer. REAL?!? ## I filled a prescription for Klonopin and received Repam-2, little orange tabs. Are these the real deal? ## Yes, they are absolutely the real deal. I think they are a little weak...I need to take 2 instead of 1 to get the effects, but I certainly DO get the Clonazepam feeling. Jpee is the manufacturer out of India and I have had that brand before with Xanax as well. Both are real....you just might need to take a weeny bit more to get the effect of an American generic. Hope this helps. ## Joe is right. REPAM-2 from India is legit (just a little weaker than expected but does the job). I would recommend them.
