Some advice I can give you is to not ask for any 'specific medication' when you see a new doctor. Just make sure to transfer or take a copy of all your medical records with you. Then, the best approach in my opinion, is to discuss up front and honestly what has or hasn't worked for you in the past. Most doctors will take it under consideration and hear you out if you approach them in this manner. Will someone, anyone please supply me with a name of a doctor here in Ft.Myers FL who does care enough to give a prescription for a sleep medicine for severe insomnia? Just moved here and cannot find a doctor as of yet. I have heard all of the terrible stories and read more here online, now more scared than I already was. Your help is very much appreciated. The medicine my Dr. had me on is unavailable here, or so I am told by a certain Dr. here. Thanks for listening and any information you provide.

I've have have been on 30mg 6xday for 11yrs every 6months my NJ.Doc.would change this to another med.(avinza)or something else that worked.Then back to the 30mg.I never had a problem.I moved to FT.Myers 3months ago.with all my pain m... papers.I got new mri's and cat scans done so there would be no problems.There are problems!with this system.It's the doc.they know there is a problem,but they keep writing the same RX.then it's your problem.the pharmacy are robbing us blind.I can't afford 3-5 $$ a pill!they don't take insurance for oxycodone but take it for oxycontin?why is this?For people with real pain this isn't fair.what can we do to stop this.mess?anyone????15 pharmacy turned me away.So what can i do? ## It really isn't necessarily the pharmacies, but...

I have been with Dr galang for 5 yrs now n where I get my meds they got a new pharmacist n she is giving me probs on filling all of them. I take norco 10/325, Fentanyl 75 mcg x 15, soma 350 120 a month and temazepam 30mg x 30 a month. I also get klonapin 1 mg 2x daily. N sequel from my psychiatrist. Would you have a prob filling these? I've been on theses meds plus epidural every 6 months. As I said for the last 5 yrs I've been at the same pharmacy n never had a prob. And this one thinks she's God. My Dr is very upset.
