My Dr.R.Homechoudhury Prescribed Me For My Knie Joint Pain Please Sujjest me The Best and The Cheap Formulation of PROXYM-XT ## I am prescribed Proxym XT for my knee joint pain and imflammation, diagnosed 'Medial Miniscus injury for one month 1-0-1 tablets daily. I am also advised to take tablet Fit Joint 1-0-1 tablets daily for one month. I am 73yrs old male. How effective are these medicines? Any side effects? Etodolac 400 mg & Paracetamol Tablets 500 mg ## Etodolac does have a contraindication with Paracetamol (acetaminophen). Guidelines state that using the two drugs together can increase risk of nephrotoxicity (damage to the kidneys). I highly recommend consulting with a doctor about proper dosing before taking these two medications together, to help lessen the risk. It is used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and stomach irritation.
