I am a 42 yr old woman and had a complete hysterectomy in October 2008. Within 1 year of my surgery, I began experiencing extreme hair loss. This November, my doctor prescribed EST ESTRN METHTEST .625/1.25 mg (in addition to the ESTRADIOL .5mg that I was already taking) to help reduce the hair loss. I was wondering if this medication is used for this purpose (as well as it's other benefits)? My mother is a breast cancer survivor (2009) & I am concerned about increasing my chances, by taking all these medications. Hello doc, I am 28 years old. Male. My test results came back as follows: DHT – 468 pg/ml Testosterone – 523 ng/dl TSH – 1.530 A month later, I got these tests done: Testosterone – 683 ng/dl Estradiol – 33 pg/ml My issue is less facial hair. I have a good mustache and good hair growth on my chin and a thin line along my jawline. But I don’t have hair on my cheeks. The doctor I consulted suggested I go for testosterone injections for a few months or go for a DHT cream. Are my tests alright? Is my estradiol a little high? I am afraid I have started developing small breasts. Also, I feel I get irritated quite easily sometimes and am OK the next moment(Mood Swings). Will I get pregnant while using these tablets? I am using these tablets right now and I am also sexually active with my husband. ## My doctor suggested I use cyproterone acetate and ethinyl estradiol tablets for my irregular periods and facial hair ...she suggested me to use the tablet from my first day of menstrual cycle beginning...and continue it for 6 cycles..please help me by answering..how many months should i use it..and monthly how many times should i take it...i have a doubt whether i should use only during my menstrual cycle period (i.e 3 days) or should i use it 21 days..please reply as early as possible..expecting a reply from you eagerly.. ## Did you experience any side effects from this?
