Elderly People And Metoprolol

is this a possible side effect??

I'm wondering if a possible side effect of metoprolol was thinning of the skin?? i have been having major problems with thinning skin lately and just trying to rule out all the medications i'm on. my skin is very fragile and cuts easily. i'm only 26 years old so it's not because i'm elderly. my doctor wasn't able to call me back before the weekend so figured i'd see what other people thought of this. thanks everyone who replies! ## I have been taking METPROLOL SUCC ER since 2006 and I am a 21 year old female and I have not experienced that problem. ## This can be a serious side effect, I suggest you speak to your doctor, they will be best able to rule the medication in or out as a cause and provide you with a solution. ## Today I have been checked by a cardio...
