I am a US citizen & am residing permanently in S. Central Ecuador. We love this place, but there are so many adjustments to make & in so many different areas! I have a chronic illness & must take some medications. I must do lots of internet searching on this topic as my Spanish is not yet adequate though I only see an MD with a translator.....And please correct me if I'm wrong, but most of the small pharmcies seem to be run & owned by people without medical education so I do not feel comfortable asking them.....My husband was prescribed Arcoxia for sore muscles after a minor fall. His only health problem is asthma, & we get confused by which anti-inflammatory drugs are okay with asthma. Please clarify, if you know. Also, compare Ibuprofan with Arcoxia. Thank You

It is used to treat irritable bowel syndrome (spastic colon). Have you considered searching for a similar alternative? There are other medications out there which can be used for the same purposes.
