Small round blue pill with no imprints. ## Hello! How are you? If there are no imprints, we can actually rule it out as being a U.S. prescription tablet. They are all required by law to have imprints to enable their identification, in case of emergency. Tablets without an imprint are most likely over the counter products, though there is a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. Where was it found? Some over the counter products are regional, so knowing the general location may help to narrow it down. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else have an idea of what this tablet might be?

I Take Metformin Is It Ok To Diazepam As Well ## NO Problem. ## I have two different pills. One says APO on one side and on reverse it is scored and has an'M' and 500 on it. The other metformin pill ( that I was used to 0 is oblong and unscored with #93 on one side and 48 on the other. Both are to 500mg. Are they really the same..just different manufacturs? Appreciate info befor I take the 'new' round one. Thanks. ## Joy, yes they are both the same medication and dosage, just manufactured by different companies. Ann, you should check with your doctor or pharmacist to be certain, but I did not find any interactions listed between the two medications. Are there any other questions or comments?

The label on bottle got wet and came off... tablets are definitiely generic (Diazepam) and not the brand-name Valium, although on one side it looks like a fancy-designed "V". On the other side are the numbers "2684". I don't wish to take more than 5mg at a time, so if this is 10mg, I definitely want to cut in half. Is this 5 or 10mg? Thank you! ## Hi Josey-Anna, To answer your question, the imprint "2684 V" on a round blue tablet, is identified as Diazepam (10 mg). Manufacturer: Qualitest Pharmaceuticals Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 00603-3215 You can learn more about this drug on the page for Diazepam Details Hope this helps! ## Yes David, that DOES help -- greatly. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

This medication is bad compared to 1mg Alprazolam. I had to take a higher dose than normal to feel the same level of relief. ## Hi nuuke, how are you? Sorry to hear about your experience with Teva's diazepam. One thing to be aware of when you are taking generic meds, is that they are permitted by the FDA to contain up to 20% more or less of the actual active ingredients. This means that if one generic has -20% of the active ingredient, another generic has +20%, that's a 40% difference in dosages, plus a different set of binders and fillers that effect the absorption rate/bio-availability! It's no wonder everyone reacts differently to these drugs. I could be wrong in assuming this, but that's probably why they make generics so much cheaper as well... since you never reall...

I suffer from panic attacks and a friend gave me a couple of pills she said would help. They are light blue with D 10 on one side and ww on the other , the two w 's are together. Are these real diazepam or fakes? ## These do contain 10mgs of Diazepam, they are from the UK and this is a pretty high dosage. In the US you will commonly hear it called Valium. This is a Benzodiazepine, used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. These pills carry a high risk of dependency and addiction, so they should not be used without a doctors supervision. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, irritability and headache. You can read more about this medication here: Did you have any other questions? ## The Diazepam marked WW D10 you say are from the UK. I have been given these tablets on...

Are they strong like the other 2 mg benzos? (Xanax, klonopin) I was just wondering?? ## It is another medication in the exact same medication class, so strength is relative and depends on the person, how used to benzodiazepines they are and the dosage of the given medication. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with?

What are the drugs diazepam breaks down into? What is the dosage the doctors fear will be addicting? ## Hi Sarah, From what I could gather, the main active metabolite of diazepam is known as "Desmethyldiazepam" (which is also commonly referred to as Nordazepam or Nordiazepam). The other remaining active metabolites are "Temazepam" and "Oxazepam". Ref: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18618924 As far as "what dosage a doctor might be fearing for addiction", that is something that could vary from doctor to doctor based on their own individual discretion towards these types of drugs. However, some patient reviews I've come across suggest that just the act of taking diazepam daily can bring about its addictive habits, whereas increasing the duration of time in-bet...

Since when are 10 mg Diazepam pink and scored with no number on them instead of blue with a 10 and scored as in America? ## Well, first of all, even in the U.S. the colors don't mean anything, the manufacturers can make them whatever color they choose, so even the same dosage from different companies may not be all the same color. As to the imprint, this can happen if you order them from a foreign pharmacy or obtain them there. Unlike the U.S., they don't require all of their medications to have unique imprints for identification purposes. That said, there is also no way to actually be certain they sent you the correct thing. Diazepam is a Benzodiazepine, commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. Side effects can include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and iritability...

I have been taking citalopram10mg for 4days now along with 400mg tramadol (100mg 4xaday) and 6mg diazepam. My depression has lifted however my anxiety has increased and I can't sleep. I'm due to increase my citalopram to 20mg in 3 days but not sure if this is a good idea. I would appreciate any feed back from people who have been on this combination of tablets for side affects and how long they last. ## I haven't taken these medications, but I can tell you that many have reported experiencing anxiety, when they first start taking it. Learn more Citalopram details here. Such side effects can last anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks, whenever you up the dosage, but they should start to taper off in severity after that, once you're on a steady dosage and your body gets used to new m...

Hi, I am going through a very tough separation from my wife I still deeply love from the bottom of my heart. We have two little children, the thought of losing it all, the feeling of having failed at what is most important in my life has made me spiral into a deep depression. My doctor started with Lexapro 10mg once a day and Diazepam 5 mg twice a day. Since I was still having anxiety and panic attacks almost daily, my doctor put me on 20 mg of Lexapro once a day and 10 mg of Diazepam twice a day. I feel much better but the panic attacks and feeling of falling off a cliff are still happening daily. I don’t know what to do. Ask to increase the dosage? I am just starting to see a counselor, unfortunately getting someone approved by my health Insurance could see me took a few weeks. ...

Hi everyone. I used to take Diazepam, at a 5mg dosage, on and off for anxiety over the last 20 years. I recently moved to a new area and started experiencing arthritis. Now, I take 30mg codeine for pain relief. My question is whether or not it would be safe for me to return to a low 5mg dosage of Diazepam as needed? I Googled it and the information I found suggested it could potentially cause me to stop breathing. Does anyone have any advice? I'm in desperate need of help. Thanks in advance. ## Yes, both Diazepam, and Codeine can cause depression of the central nervous system as side effects, which may result in a lowered rate of breathing, lowered heart rate, dizziness, grogginess, and drowsiness. So, they should only be combined if you're doctor feels it is safe for you to tak...

What is the difference between diazepam and xanax? When it comes to mg how do they compare? Say 2mg of diazepam= how many mg of xanax? ## diazepam was proscribed for an ear infection....why??? ## It is dangerous to try and compare Xanax with Valium or diazepam. The milligrams do not match up in any way. They are both benzodiazipines (I never spell that correctly.) Please don't try to figure out how they fit by the dosage this is serious business and could cause a real overdose. To the person who was prescribed diazepam for a bladder infection...this was probably prescribed because it helps to relax the smooth muscles. It can help take away the urgency of needing to urinate while having a urinary tract infection. ## nenene has provided good advice on this, it isn't something to t...

The 10mg valium from India is totally legitimate. For me, with high tolerance, they work better than the US drugs. The manufacturer is Zepose. I highly recommend these. They are without imprints yet have scoring on the back so that you can break them into smaller dosages. ## I've always been partial to the idea of having to order my medications over the internet versus obtaining a valid prescription from a doctor. But I am still glad to hear you were able to find a company that carries real medication and not complete fakes. That is a triumph in and of itself, considering all the fraudulent products that are out on the foreign market. I did want to mention though, that Zepose is actually an Indian brand name of Diazepam and not who the manufacturer is as you may have been led to bel...

hey im on hydro's and cyclobenzaprine and diazwpam can uli take them all at the same time ## Hello, Chris! How are you? As long as they've all been prescribed for you and your doctor hasn't given you instructions not to do so. The main risk is the fact that they all increase sedation, so you may experience a lot of dizziness and drowsiness. It may be too much for you and you might do better taking them at different times of day. The Hydrocodone and Diazepam also carry the risk of being habit forming, according to the FDA. What times do you usually take them and what are the dosages?

Taken prucalopride for approx eight months with good results but it did stop working. Realised it had stopped since taking baclofen (changed from diazepam due to hype). Even after months of meds being changed the prucalopride was no longer effective. Research states taking more than the prescribed dose does not work but out of desperation I tried 2mg both morning and night with instant results. Bowel Clinic has confirmed I can continue this if it works for me. She states there is just no evidence that Prucalopride works by increasing the dose.... Sadly there is no system to show the feedback that it can sometimes work. I will try returning to the advised dose after regaining continuity and use the am-pm doses for a booster when required. Presently so grateful not to have life on hold an...

I just got my script filled for 40 diazepam, they are blue and have a 1 and a 0 on either side of a score mark, and the other side is just blank. They are blue and not the normal blue, the sides are darker than the rest of the tablet. if anyone knows if they are good or not please let me know. thanks. ## Just to let everyone know, these diazepam are fake and they are no good whatsoever, i took my dosage yesterday and never got a thing out of them. avoid at all costs. ## With regard to valium dispensed from your pharmacist, quite often you will get a different color, not brink pink or rainbowed! They will be blue if 10 mg but not necessarily fake, as they are out of license, they can be produced by other drug companies ..but they might not be the same blue exactly as the ones you are use...

what happen if i take three blue valium 10 mg at a same time? ## The would be quite a high dosage to take, at once and it may result in overdose, especially if you aren't used to taking it. Valium contains the active ingredient Diazepam, it is a Benzodiazepine and they are known to cause depression of the central nervous system. Therefore, taking too much of it could result in a drop in pulse rate, blood pressure and breathing rate and, in some cases, this can be fatal. Learn more: Is there anything else I can help with?

i was prescribed valium pill a while back now , so have forgotten the color and any words on the pill. would it be round zg /5 on one side and a v on the other . cheers veronica ## I am not finding any records of any prescription tablets with this marking. And since Valium is available as a name brand, as well as the generic Diazepam, the markings on them will vary depending on the manufacturer and dosage. Some examples are: Orange, round, with MYLAN 345 on the front, 5mg. Green, round, with MYLAN 477, 10mg. Yellow, round, with a V on one side and 2683 on the other, 5mg. Blue, round, with a V on one side and 2684 on the other, 10mg. And this isn't a comprehensive list, there are many more. Do you by any chance remember the dosage?

My Rheumatologist says that it is unnecessary to withdraw from Oxazepam 15mg. (see above Topic for dosage) and merely substitute with a lesser dosage of Difucan (10mg. @ 4-6 hours daily) as they are "the same drug"! I have been taking this Oxazepam dosage for 25 years+. Now I am following his instructions and having major withdrawal miserable symptoms. Any suggestions? ## There is no medication called Difucan, the closest is Diflucan and, if that's what you have, then I don't think you're taking the right medication, because it is an antifungal medication.
