Pink oblong metalox ## I have leftovers from about a year ago. Are they still effective or should i get rid of them? I was told that they are still good but they just lose their potency. ## Skelaxin contains the active ingredient Metaxalone, this is a muscle relaxant. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and headache. Lorraine, that is correct, they are not dangerous, but can lose some of their efficacy over time. This causes some people to use more than they should, which is why you are told to throw away old medications. Are there any other questions? ## Is it ok to take ibuprophen along with skelaxin?

I have been diagnosed with stenosis. Walking becomes painful but is recommended for exercise. How can I exercise pain free? ## Have you discussed it with your doctor? While it may be painful, for awhile, as your body gets used to the exercise, it should gradually improve. Anyone that isn't used to exercising, will experience some pain, when they first start and, with your condition, this will obviously be worse for you, but the only that can really help is perseverance.
