Does Fentanyl Or Oxycodon No Acetaminophen Get Processed Through The Liver
1 Topic FoundI just got blood test results showing elevated liver ensymes. I take percodan 10/325 3xday. I also take fentanyl patch 25 every 48 hours. What meds could replace these in reguards to the elevated liver enzymes ? ## Hello, Trish! How are you? The elevated enzymes are most likely caused by the oral medication, not the patch, since it isn't processed directly through the liver. There are formulations of Oxycodone available without anything else added that your doctor can prescribe, so it won't have as much of an impact on your liver as the Percodan does. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
