need a doctor who prescribes oxycodone ## I'm sorry, but there is no central listing of doctors that will prescribe any given medication. And if you need such medications for long-term treatment of chronic pain, you'll most likely have to see a pain management specialist due to the new restrictions that have been put in place. There have been many concerns raised about improper prescribing and over prescribing, so there are new regulations put in place regarding what general practitioners and surgeon can prescribe, how much and for how long they can prescribe it. You can learn more Oxycodone details here. Have you tried pain management yet? Does anyone know of a doctor they can recommend in the area? ...

You're really not going to find a doctor to just prescribe them and not worry about it. That's just not possible, anymore. They are held responsible for their prescribing practices, now. The best thing to do would be to set up an appointment with a PCP in your new area and then have them refer you to someone for pain management. I Broke my arm on December 4th and was prescribed oxycodone. I only take it at night so I can sleep and deal with the pain during the day so I don't run out before the pain stops. I went to a clinic that is covered by my Low income insurance plan but the doctor refused to reissue my prescription. I don't use drugs and don't have an addictive personality. I'm not trying to make myself feel high. I'm still covered with bruises and my arm hurts really badly. I just want another prescription. ## Hello, Erika! How are you doing? I cannot find a dr who will write me my script. Can anyone suggest anyone? ## Who was the doctor ## I'm sorry about the problem that you've run into. However, you're not going find a doctor to just write you your prescription, as a matter of fact, if you're contacting doctors to ask them about prescribing such a medication, they're all going to be inclined to tell you no and not even let you get in the door, because they consider that to be drug seeking behavior. Help, Seeking new Doc in NJ (Middlesex/Monmouth County areas) I have been going to a pain mgmt. doctor who was giving me oxycontin ER 40mg twice a day and 10mg Percocet 4 times a day for breakthrough pain. They have cut my meds in half in the last 2 months, I have always taken meds correctly and never had a dirty UA. My levels were always good. I have bulging and herniated discs and am in a lot of pain. They are cutting everyone down on meds because of over medicating some patient etc.. (and now everyone pays). I'm sorry that you're in pain. Unfortunately, there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. Technically, any doctor can prescribe it for pain, however, due to the regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a pain management specialist if you require it on a long-term ongoing basis. Need Medicade provider who pet scribes roxycodone in Huntsville Al ## I'm not sure if you are being serious or sarcastic with your question. As far as pet scribing anything, veterinarians do not accept Medicaid, if you are trying to get Roxycodone in your pet's name for you or for your pet and I don't know of any vet that would prescribe that anyway for a pet. If you need a Pain Management Doctor that accepts Medicaid and prescribes Roxycodone or Oxycodone you can try Alabama Pain Center but you have to go through a lot to get in there and through their classes and such and you won't get them right off. They will give you something else first. Good Luck. ...

Need doctor that takes Georgia Medicaid in N.W. Georgia not afraid to prescribe oxycodone for disabled older man with 3 herniated disks in back. ## Hello, Johnny! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. If you require such a medication on a long-term, ongoing basis, you'll need to see a pain management specialist, due to the new regulations that were enacted last year. Those regulations also mean that all doctors may be very cautious about what they prescribe and why they prescribe it, or they risk losing their license to practice medicine, as well as possible fines and jail time. Doctors near Canton Ohio Who Prescribe Oxycodone

My husband has a bad back (bull stepped on him in high school) he's 37 now, and needs surgery. We cannot do that right now, so he's been on oxycodone 30mg, but we've moved 16 hours away from old dr. Need new dr in Ohio preferably near Canton, but at least somewhere near. Can anyone please help us find a Dr. who prescribes that. We've been looking, & not having any luck. Any advise would be great!! ## The best piece of advice I can give you is to get him an appointment to see a new doctor, but don't ask ahead of time if they will prescribe any particular medication. When you do that, doctors view it as being drug seeking behavior and will usually just say that they don't prescribe, don't treat such things or whatever excuse they can come up with to not tak... ...

having a hard time finding pain management doctors near San Fernando Valley. Please offer some suggestions for a "no-problem" Medicare accepting Dr. Thank you ## I'm sorry, but you're really not going to find a 'no problem' doctor, anymore. There are strict guidelines they must follow regarding the prescribing of any controlled substances, if they prescribe improperly, they risk losing their license to practice medicine. Do you currently have a general practitioner that you see regularly? If so, they might be the best person to consult to get a referral to a doctor that can help you. Hello, I just found this forum. First off... I live in eastern kentucky and am wondering if anyone could give me some advice. My doctor just suddenly passed away and has left all of his patients with no way to get their prescriptions. It was a private practice with no other doctors working with him, just a NP to assist. I've been on the same medication ... same dose same amount for years with no issues as far as drug panels or anything. I've undergone multiple procedures and surgeries as well. I am a legit chronic pain patient with multiple health problems and I need a new doctor. I went to 1 doctor whose PA saw me, he didn't assess me, refused my medical records, cut my medication dosage to way less than even half of what Ive been on for years. He told me the doctor had alr... ...

Please please please someone direct me to a doctor who will listen and prescribe the amount of ocycodone my son needs. Pain management clinics are a joke and fall short of what we know will keep him comfortable until they can do the therapy or procedures that may be able to get him out of pain so he doesn't have to take it. He only needs 60 mg a day in 4 15 mg doses. That is what we've found works and makes it so he doesn't get sick from the meds and is out of the considerable pain he is in. He can't work because they won't give him enough to function. I have spent so much money I dont have to take care of him! He has Ahccs healthcare coverage! They only give him 3 10mg pills a day which falls short of the care he needs and is in so much pain. I am at my wits end! We... ...

I'm 55 and have chronic back and neck pain. I'm also worn out dealing with these state/gov doctors who feel they have to re-invent the wheel where my pain relief is concerned. I have had all MRI'S/diagnostics when I saw a pain management Doctor for over 12 years. However this was back when I was a real person w/ private insurance. Now I'm old broken and unemployed living at the states mercy. I think ANY kind of drug panel, especially one to see a Doctor is UNCONSTITUTIONAL BULLS***...If anyone knows of a Doc that's not tied up w/ this "OH MY GOD, NOT PAIN MEDICATION" attitude please let me know.
