CAN Desval Er caused for infertility or pcod ## My daughter had jerks in her hands. After getting spike like wave discharge my doctor prescribed her Desval er 250 for 3 years. Jerks gone. But after one year she stopped taking the drug. Now In August she got seizure without convulsions . She regain senses within half minutes. Desval 250 is again given daily . she is 13 years 32 kg weight. After taking drug she again had seizure after 15 days & last on 16 sept. Now another Doctor prescribed her Desval er 1g. Is this 4 time increase of drug quantity would have any side effect on my daughter? pl. suggest

My freind everyday takes a dose of Desval ER 250 in the night. I would like to know the risk if in case he gives a gap and due to some reason not able to have Desval ER 250. And I would like to know the desease as to why doctor prescribe this. Is it that he has to be on Medicine all his life.. ## Desval ER contains a time released formulation of Divalproex, which is an anticonvulsant, it is commonly given to prevent seizures, but is also sometimes used to treat mood disorders. My friend is taking desval er 250 mg is there any side effects ## I am taking Desval ER 250 one tablet daily in the morning . Besides I am taking one tab of Depranil Plus, one daily and also One tab of Admenta 5 daily. Very often in the night while sleeping I sit up on the bed and start talking, some times violently. Is it due to the medicines I take? Which one is the suspect? ## I have been suffering from DEPRESSION for the last 15 years. At present I am taking daily one tab Desval ER 250, one tab of Admenta 5 and one tab of Depranil Plus in the morning after breakfast. Also I take 0.25 tab of Alparzolam and one tab of vitamin E 400. Recently I find that I am getting up in the middle of my sleep on the bed and start talking , sometimes violently. I do not recall anything in the morning...

I'm 53 yr old Govt employee. I'm taking Desval-ER 500 mg for the last 3 yrs for nervous illness. Earlier I was taking Lithosun SR 500 mg b.i.d for the last 14-15 yrs..Dr. switched from lIthosun SR 500 mg to Desval-ER 500 mg as lithium accumulated in the blood due to which drastic weight loss had occured.. In starting Desval-ER worked well and weight got normalized but now after 3 yrs of its continous use, again a significant decrease in weight (i.e derease in weight from 72 kg in Sep 2011 to 55 kg in Nov, 2014) has been observed..I have been taking treatment from PGI, Chd for the last 8-9 yrs ..All the tests like liver function, Ultrasound, T3-T4, TSH, Urine, Blood RBC count are found to be normal..Please suggest and guide in this matter.. why & when Dr. use Loapez 0.25 medicine? My 19 year old ADHD son has difficulty in staying awake during daytime.He's mildly Dyslexic also.He's taking Addwize,Desval ER 500,and Fluvoxine. To overcome his sleep problem and to have more concentration is it better to take Attentrol or Armod 150? Sir, I would like to know about the side effect of SULPITAC medicine.
