I'm used to my son taking 500mg of depakote, a large, grey, oval pill. Now he's taking a larger white oval pill with M 473 on one side. To make a long story short, I may not be having seizures. Dr. took one EEG and said I had two seizures in 20 minutes! What are seizures? What do they feel like? I have no idea what this doctor is talking about. I have never passed out. I'm a 61 year old female; active and maybe have 1 cold/year. I started taking the depakote this past saturday; 1 in am, the other at pm. It made me so sick, double vision, mean, angry. I do not have biopolar. So the total number of pills since saturday I have taken 2 full days of depakote and only one pill yesterday that made me so sick (5 pills total). My old depakote (divalproex sodium er 500 Mg was a large pink pill. my new prescription of the same pill made by the same Company [Teva] now is larger, white and has the number M473 on one side. Is this the same pill. I have epilepsy and valporic acid - depakote was the med that saved me. Thanks. ## Yes, the new tablet is also 500mgs of Valproic Acid in an extended release formulation, but it is not manufactured by Teva, it is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals, which is why the logo is an M. After taking Nexito for 15 days i do feel ok, but i didnt take it again for the past 15 days and i dont want to make it a habit so i like to take when im really tense; like for 2 days & then stop. There are two pills, and I think they are antibiotics? but could be mood pills. 1) Oblong, powder pink colour--it is NOT a capsule; 3/4 long, about 1/4fat (deep), and just over 1/4 wide. One side says largely: APO and the other says 500 . There is also a raised band, same colour and everything as the rest, going lengthwise all the way around right in the middle of the side. 2) This might be the same drug, smaller dose: Same shape, same band around the middle sides, but 1/2 long, 1/4 wide, and below 1/4 fat. It's bright red, the same colour of the ok and submit buttons on this site. Apo on one side, 125 on the other.
