What is Mixed Connective Tissue Disease? What medications are prescribed for it? Could this be the cause of severe low back pain? My Dr. doesn't believe in fibromyalgia but I have been diagnosed with this going on 12 years. I am taking Cymbalta, and Ultram for the fibromyalgia. My Dr. prescribed plaquenil but honestly I cannot tell I am taking anything. And since he prescribed the plaquenil he cut my dosage of Ultram from 100mg 4 times a day to 3 times a day. I quit taking the plaquenil because it keeps me awake at night, even though I take trazadone and clorazapam for sleep. I have had to add 2 benedryl with that to stay asleep.
