I have been taking clonotril since 1.5 years.Dose has been reduced from 1 mg to .25mg per day,now.If I stop,anxiety due to relational problem reappears.side effects? ## Clonotril contains the active ingredient Clonazepam, which is a Benzodiazepine and these are well known to be habit forming, when used for a long period of time. Thus, an abrupt cessation can result in withdrawal symptoms and rebound effects, such as what you are experiencing. A sudden withdrawal also carries the risk of seizures. My best advise is to consult with your doctor about continuing to do a slow taper of this medication. I'm on depression my psychologist prescribed to take FELIZ S 5mg & CLONOTRIL 0.25mg every day since 2.5 years, but now iam cured so i need to withdraw to taking pills, Please help on this how to get off i have tried more time to get off but its not possible due to withdrawal symptoms have any other pills to get off on this PLEASE HELP ME.......

My doctor prescribed me clonotril 0.25mg for a good sleep. I took one almost 2hrs ago. But still i am awake... Should i increase the dose(amd now if possible)... ## What did you end up doing? Actually last Saturday I went to hospital so told to the doctor that I am not feeling well and weekness from last 20-25 day's. My husband has been extreamly upset due to some problems and work and in his family.
