Bright Pink oval elliptical shape tablet AT250. Opposite side has 2 chevrons >> ... could this be Cephalexin? ## Diego, this appears to be a pill manufactured in Canada. According to C-Health (on canoe, a Canadian resource) this appears to be CO Azithromycin 250 mg. It is also an antibiotic, but a different kind. Each pink, film-coated, capsular-shaped tablet, embossed with a logo on the upper face, and "AT 250" on the lower face, contains azithromycin monohydrate equivalent to 250 mg of Azithromycin. I take 1 at night 1 in the morning. I feel nauseous most of the day until about 3pm could I just take 1 at night- urinary tract infection- also aching left leg- could this be connected? ## Hello, Liz! How are you? Yes, those can be side effects of this antibiotic, as listed by the FDA, however, you shouldn't lower your dosage, it should be taken as prescribed, in order to fully eradicate the bacteria. Other side effects may possibly include dizziness, headache, drowsiness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Have you tried taking it with food to minimize the nausea? ## I am taking 250 mg of cephalexin for bronchitis. Only took 2 caps and had bad diarrhea. Should it happen this soon? Took it once years ago and had no problems.

What should the dosage of this med be. Adult female approx 130.lbs. ## The usual Adult dose for an Upper Respiratory Tract Infection is 250 to 500 mg orally every 6 hours for 7 to 10 days. Anatomically speaking, the upper respiratory tract does include the sinuses, so it would be safe to assume that this would be the correct dose for this type of infection. I have a abcess tooth wanted to know if keflex 500 mg will take the infection out. ## Hi Jackie, From what I could gather, Keflex (cephalexin) can in fact be used to treat a tooth infection. Apparently the usual adult dose for bacterial infections is listed as being anywhere from 250 to 500mgs every 6 hours; to be taken for up to 1-3 weeks, depending on the severity of the infection. However, these exact figures are generally something your doctor/dentist would determine upon a closer examination. Are cephalexin green and red capsules the same? ## The same as what, exactly? There is a green and red Cephalexin capsule that has the marking SQUIBB 181 on it and it contains 250mgs of Cephalexin. So, if you are asking about the dosage, then no, because it only contains half the dosage of the 500mg capsules. Can you please double check the drug name? ## I have seen Keflex(Cephalexin)but had never seen it as a blue and white 250 mg capsule with Lupin written on the capsule .the drug should indicate on it what the Dr. ordered or substituted.
