Are there any generic versions of this tablet either er or direct version which contain different coloring ingredients than the original sinmet product? ## @Dr. Perry, From what I could gather, Sinemet (Carbidopa + Levodopa) by Merck Pharma reportedly contains the following inactive ingredients: hydroxypropyl cellulose + pregelatinized starch + crospovidone + microcrystalline cellulose + magnesium stearate. NOTE: FD&C Blue #2 are also present in the 10mg/100mg and 25mg/250mg dosage forms; whereas D&C Yellow #10 Lake is used in the 25mg/100mg dosage form. My husband was dx with Parkinson's disease and was Rx Carb/Levo to reduce his tremor. After 3 days no change was noted, and the shaking slightly increased. Maybe the Dx is wrong. ## My mother is taking carb/levo 25-100mg four times a day. This past several weeks she has been seeing things that are not there, not sleeping at night, and not wanting to eat. is this normal for her to be doing on this drug. she is 83 years old and she has just gotten worst in the past several weeks. she has been to the doctor and he says she is in the last stage of this disease Parkinsons. she has just came down hill so fast and i need to know if this all is normal. Parkinsons disease ## would like to know all side effects for this medication ## 3rd day on carb/levo, feeling sick, slept 2hrs and i never sleep through the day. DOSAGE 25-100 MG ## I am on the drug levocarb and miropex, but I want to stop them at what dosage should I cut back is a sore neck and sticky mucus a side effect.
