Candid Lotion

I had a fungal infection for which the doctor prescribed me plain candid cream to be applied externally on my vulvar area for one month. Within ten days if using the cream, they symptoms subsided but had not gone away completely but I stopped using the cream as my period started. Now I hadn't applied the cream during my period. It's my fifth day today and the inside of my vagina is very very itchy. What could it be? I am having this infection since Sept of 2016. It keeps coming back. I feel like dying.
