Generic Subutex/Buprenorphine - Which manufacturer do you prefer?

Hello All, I recently just got changed from suboxone to subutex due to a pretty bad allergic reaction to the naloxone in the suboxone. Basically my question for everyone is which generic do you guys prefer? My pharmacist can order any kind for me so at the moment I just got the Roxanne ones 8mg - they are white round tablets. This is my first day using and am already noticing my migraines are starting to subside, not fully, but starting to. So yeah if anyone has any suggestions please let me know all the ups and downs that you guys have been experiencing, thanks! Good luck to one and all! D ## I may not have personal experience with either of these generics, but I did want to go ahead and link you to a couple other threads here with more information on other Subutex reviews: Discuss/can......

How long after taking Subutex can you take another opiate?

I took an 8 mlg subutex about 24 hours ago. Is it safe to take roxicodone or other pain meds? ## No, they need to be separated by about 72 hours, in order for the other pain medications to be effective. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Subutex has no opiate blocker in them so you should be fine... suboxone on the other hand has an opiate blocker therefore depending on your body's tolerance and whatever you may or may be able to take other opioids... But I know from experience Subutex is different from suboxone, another opiate medication should work. ## I took a 1/4 dose of Buna......

small round pale yellow identifier 124 on one side only ## IC PANTOPRAZOLE SOD DR 40 MG T SUN , small yellow pill with 124 on one side. Please tell me if this is a form of Nexium? Thank-you very much. Gayle~ ## Pale yellow round coated solid with the #124 on one side ## My pantoprazole 40 MG tabs don't look like the descrition on my print out from the pharmacy, Walgreens. They have different numbers on them than the sheet says. ## Just to clear things up, the round, yellow tablet with the 124 on it in black is a 40mg Pantoprazole delayed release tablet, a generic for Protonix. No, this is not the same active ingredient as what is in Nexium, though it is in the same family of medications, proton pump inhibitors. They work by reducing the amount of acid produced by the stomach to help......

Generic Subutex/Buprenorphine. Ranking from best to worst.

This is for people who actually take Subutex for the intended purpose for which it is used. So if you actually take the medication sublingually, this thread will help you. I have been taking buprenorphine for three and a half years now. This is what I have found: (8mg) Best: Actavis 153/half moon (orange) Middle: Roxanne 54/411 (white) Worst: Hi-Tech 8/arrow Again, this is for people who take medication as prescribed. You can actually break the medication in half and put it and the front of your lip like dip & chewing tobacco. It will take longer for it to dissolve like this but you will get much much more of the bupe. ## Does keeping the leftover saliva\bupe mixture under your toung for longer periods help at all? I try not to swallow the bupe-liva for 30 min.+...but it's a pai......

generic subutex and puritus

I have been on Suboxone for 7 years. I just switched to generic Subutex for financial reason. After 2 weeks on the generic Subutex, I have deveoped sever puritus on the back of my thighs and buttocks. I am pretty sure that the Subutex is the cause, as I have eliminated anything else. Little itchy bumps, all over these areas, but they are not red. ## Hi, Terry! Sorry about the problem you're having. I've had similar reactions myself from allergies over the years, so I know it can be pretty miserable. It's hard to say from just the information in your post, but usually pruritus as a result of a drug reaction is accompanied by a rash. I really think you should have your doctor look at it to be sure. It can happen due to various types of allergies, so it could be that it's u......
