I have been on this medication since tuesday (and have not experienced any side effects) when I thought my wound was infected, but it was not. My doctor gave me about 25 pills to take as a precaution to avoid it getting infected in the future. If I do not take the pills for 36 hours, will I be able to drink alcohol without having side effects? Also, what is the likelihood of my wound getting infected if I do not take the antibiotic for over 48 hours? ## Hello, Colleen! How are you?
