Can I Open A Kadian Capsule And Take It

I received my prescribed kadian in the factory sealed bottle. It did not appear to have been tampered with. However,I noticed several times I got no relief from my medication after taking it but did not think much of it until I noticed one night as I went to take my kadian it did not sound right, kadian had small round bead type substance inside a capsule and when shaken they make a defiant sound. My capsule made no sound so my mother and I checked the entire bottle and found two more made no sound, we opened each of them one capsule was completely empty, and the other two contained a sugar like substance and cotton like material.has anyone else had kadian or medication from Actavis that was tampered with. ## The capsules are supposed to contain little pellets, as you described.
