3 Topics FoundI use to get energy using coconut oil capsules. My second bottle had a broken capsule in it and the oily inside got over the capsules in the bottle. Would this make it less effective? ## Hi Brenda, I enjoy using coconut oil for several purposes as well, including energy and various medicinal applications. Raw coconut oil is the best in my opinion since it still contains all the necessary enzymes and other beneficial factors... so as long as you're not cooking it over a certain temperature, the oil will maintain its nutritional and medicinal value whether you put it inside or outside of a capsule. The presence of a capsule should not determine the effectiveness/quality of the coconut oil. I hope this helps!

Gabapentin 300 capsules do they contain a corn or soy fillers or binders ## Hi Brenda, Because there are a number of manufacturers who produce this drug (e.g. Actavis, Pfizer, Teva, etc), you would need to provide us with the exact imprint on the capsule in order to determine if "your specific capsule" of Gabapentin contains such ingredients. Just at a glance, I did see that both Actavis and Pfizer's 300mg Gabapentin lists corn starch as the second inactive ingredient used in its composition, but nothing in particular that mentioned soy. The capsule is thinsided ..thicker on the ends.. and uneven in length.the powder seems to be light and fluffy and clumps together in piles..yet there are sparkling pieces that are mixed in and separate to single slivers if say. When pressed down upon it sticks together flattens out and makes sparkley patterns likel millions of little hair..but totally separate and single out on on when on your skin. ## Hi brenda, Is there an imprint of any kind on this capsule? The reason I ask is because U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have unique letters or numbers (sometimes in addition to a logo of some kind) imprinted on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance, and dosage.
