Amal round blue pill with only "SP" engraved on one side. No numbers or lines. Just the letters and only on one side ## Hi Hadley, I located a small round blue pill with an italicized SP engraving on one side, which turned out to be the logo for "Schering Plough". Apparently there have been previous reports of this pill suggesting that it contains 5mgs of Aerius (desloratadine); an antihistamine used for allergies and hay fever. If you run a search on google images for "Aerius (desloratadine 5 mg) SP" and scroll down a bit, there should be a few different pill images that accurately portray what it's supposed to look like. Please post back if you think your pill might be something else.

I was told it was clonidine but its very plain blue round with an N on it or maybe its a Z can you help me identify this pill. ## Hi shelley, I was able to locate a description of your pill on the manufacturer's webpage and it looks like your correct: "Each blue, round, biconvex, film-coated tablet, engraved "N" on one side and plain on the other side, contains 0.025 mg clonidine hydrochloride." "Nonmedicinal ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, dibasic calcium phosphate, lactose monohydrate (spray dried), magnesium stearate, pregelatinized starch, FD&C Blue No. 2, hypromellose, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol - partially hydrolyzed, talc, and titanium dioxide." I would like to know what it is! ## Hello, The closest match I can find is Tizanidine hydrochloride (4 mg); which is a muscle relaxant, used for muscle spasms and cluster headaches. It is a round white pill with the imprint A234. Manufacturer: Actavis National Drug Code (NDC): 52152-0234 You can learn more about this drug on the page for Tizanidine Details If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you. ## Can you please double check the imprint? I haven't been able to find a listing for anything with this marking that matches this description. There is a chance it may be an over the counter product, so I'll do some more searching. Does anyone else recognize this? ## If it was Oblong with A232 on one side, it would be Acetaminophen ...

Found a blue / greenish round pill with EL 124. What is it? ## What is a blue pill with EL 124? ## As of writing this, we're probably talking about one of the following: 1. An over the counter medication 2. A drug manufactured outside the United States 3. A drug which has long been discontinued 4. A drug that has been rebranded and had the color or imprint change I say that because the FDA / NIH aren't publishing anything that relates to this specific color and imprint combination. If anyone has other details such as where it was found, any packaging, etc ... please share in this thread!

I have a round blue pill that's scored in the middle with 10 and D on one side. The other side has an A with W on top of the A. I found it under my bed after a friend stayed. Please tell me what they are thanks. ## They are 10mg diazepam (valium) or fakes but valium none the less, it isn't a "W" it's "MA" together, commonly known as WW's or D10s on the street. If the tablet is clean looking light blue it's real. If speckled blue it's a fake valium made in someones "lab" . MA Holder pharmaceutical makes them. The D is for Diazepam and the 10 is the mg strength. WW or MA D5 are yellow and D2 white. ## I found a blue oblong pill with red specks and an imprint of 30 on it.... What is this?

I found a white pill with blue specks on it. It has a imprint A then it has a score (carved line) then 195 I think it might be adepix but I looked that up and those pills say adepix on them. So what do I have?? ## Hi Boscobella, The closest match I've been able to find is Pemoline (18.75 mg). It is a white round pill with the imprint A 197 on the front and nothing on the back. There is a score in between the A and the 197. Manufacturer: Actavis Pemoline is a stimulant drug of the oxazoline class. It was first synthesized in 1913 but its activity was not discovered until the 1930's. Under the names Betanamin, Cylert, Tradon, and Ceractiv it was used as a medication to treat attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and narcolepsy. Have a round blue pill with 10mg written on one side and a single score going across on the other. I'm thinking it's valium, anyone seen these? Any help would be appreciated! ## this doesnt have the d10, just says 10mg, its blue, single score across the back and i think someone said auparin or something makes them? ## Hi Tom Rock, Based on my research, I believe I located the pill in description to be Diazepam (10 mg). Diazepam is generic Valium. Since the pill you have has such a vague imprint there is a high likelihood that it comes from a foreign source. Diazepam is commonly used for treating anxiety, insomnia, seizures, muscle spasms, restless legs syndrome, obsessive compulsive disorder, alcohol withdrawal, benzodiazepine withdrawal, and Ménière's ...

this was found on a student with little language and who says its for headache. ## Hi becky, I came across information in the following discussion thread suggesting that this tablet may contain 500mgs of Acetaminophen: Discuss/500-JCL-238287.htm According to post #1 within that discussion, "JCL" apparently corresponds with a Palestinian company, which would explain why I'm not finding any specific details about the pill in standard US search engines. I hope this info helps! Does anyone else recognize the pill as being something different?

I found some suspicious pills in my boyfriend's bag. He is a recovering opioid addict, so this has me alarmed. He does take a ton of supplements & vitamins. These were hidden in a black jewelry bag in a backpack… No markings on these pills. Anyone know what they could be? ## If there are no markings, we can rule it out as being any type of prescription medication. As noted here the FDA requires them all to have unique imprints to help enable their identification in case of emergency. The imprint must enable them to be identified according to medication, dosage, and manufacturer. If there are no markings, it is most likely something that is available over the counter, such as a supplement, unless he has access to foreign medications. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hi.I found a tylenol size white pill that has blue speckles on it and one sude if the pill has the letters f/r on it. could someone help me ti id it? Thank you! ## Hi judie, The majority of pills I came across that fit your description are also displaying a number next to the "fr" imprint; ie: "fr 9". Does it look as if part of the imprint could've been smudged off the pill? Please post back if you happen to find anything else regarding this, thanks!

I found this pill in my home and need to identify it quickly! It is round, white with blue specks, no imprint or scoring. Please help! ## I'm sorry, but if there are no markings on the tablet, the only way to positively identify it would be to pay to have it lab tested. It could possibly be any one, of a large number of foreign medications or over the counter products. Do you have any other information on it? This one could even be a breath mint!

A crescent moon is on the side with the 23 ## Blue round 23 ## Hello Corey! How are you? This tablet contains 10mgs of mixed Amphetamine salts, it is a generic for Adderall, which is most commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, weight loss, insomnia, nervousness and anorexia. Is there anything else I can help with? ## What is the difference between the two colors. The blue 10mg and the orange 10mg of Adderall? ## They have just been manufactured by different companies. This is very common with generics, since they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification, in case of emergency, so they can be traced back to a specific manufacturer. I found a light round blue pill smooth both sides and looks like one side of markings were rubbed off almost but ALP on the one side is very clear anyone know what this might be also it almost looks like it's a speckled blue color with a hint of white throughout ??? ## Hello, Helen! How are you? Without being certain of the complete imprint, I can't say with certainty, but I think what you found is a foreign Alprazolam tablet, which is a generic for Xanax. It is a benzodiazepine that's used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. It carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Can anyone confirm this?

Its a small round blue prescription drug with the capital letter D on one side of it does anyone know what it is? The pills are from the vet for one of my dogs but the label has worn off completely. Pills are small, flat and are scored on one side only. Theres's a very slight wit wish speckle just visible in them and they have a 'powdery' exterior (not enteric or coated etc). No other marking or imprint. I vaguely remember something about them being a cortisone type thing - maybe prednisone... I think I've had veterinary prednisone under the brand name 'Solone' before which looked like this but honestly can't recall (I do rescue dogs so see a LOT of vets and vet meds). I can't find Solone images which match online either. *cant ask the vet who dispensed as the label is completely obliterated

Round greenish pill with LP on top and 717 on the bottom. ## Hi myka, I noticed that you put two different descriptions for the same pill. Is this because the markings are hard to depict or could it have been a mistake? I only ask because I haven't located any specific details on "EL 717" or "LP 717". And broader searches containing just 717 don't yield any close matches either. So could you please post back to confirm what the exact imprint is on your pill? Also, when you say the color is 'greenish', does this mean 'blue-green' or what other hues are you finding in there? Thanks for any clarification on that! ## It is light green and i can read it well it has the letters E L and under that is 717 no mistake it is about the same size as a oxy plai...
