I have kidnystones at least every 2 weeks they put me on the white ones and said its just as good for pain all those who say that need to have a full blown stone and see how they deal with it. ## Tony, this conversation has been going on for a while. It seems most people are having problems with the 10mg whites from Watson. The only thing you can do is either 1. Have doc write for name brand only as medically necessary or 2. Ask pharmacy to change you from Watson to another brand like Qualitest. If they won't, take your rx to a pharmacy that doesn't use the Watson brand. However, if you already have the new script, you won't be able to get another script til next time unless doc approves it. You can bring your current hydros back to the doc & see if he/shee will give a n...

Does anyone know why Watson generic 10/500mg Lortab is no longer available? I am a chronic pain sufferer and have been on this medication for many years. What kind of a pill is that? ## Hello, Nez! How are you? Actually, this is an over the counter product that contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen and 25mgs of Diphenhydramine, it is a generic or store brand of Tylenol PM! Side effects may include nausea, drowsiness and headache. Is there anything else I can help you with?

Where can I find them? they keep changing them all the time. is it because you need to pay for them out of pocket instead of getting it on Medi-Cal? ## Hello, Hugo! How are you? I'm sorry, but the ones with the 500mgs of Acetaminophen in them are no longer available. The maximum amount of Acetaminophen that is now approved for these combination medications is no more than 325mgs per dose. Thus, if you have a prescription for one with the higher amount, you'll need to see your doctor for a new prescription. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Having Medi-Cal has nothing to do with it.

what are the deffentence in the colors is one stronger then the other some people thimk the pink is better i think white is better so what is the case ## Since I don't know the specific tablets you are talking about, I am really unable to answer your question. The colors don't mean anything and it is the markings on the tablets that would enable use to check them and see if there are any differences. The dosages could be different, or they could be the same and just made by different manufacturers. Can you post back with more information?

Do they make a lortab 40mg. In a blue or purple capsule ## Hi, Candy! How are you? No, Lortab contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen and it is only available with a maximum of 10mgs of they Hydrocodone. The only way someone would be able to get one with a higher amount of it would be if their doctor specially ordered it and had it made at a compounding pharmacy and, if that were the case, it would be in capsules. My friend and I are both prescribed Lortab APAP10/500's. I get the Watson 540 blue pills and he gets the M363 white pills. Why would a blue lortab 10 turn white? ## Are you certain that it was blue and is a Lortab or the generic equivalent? Are there any markings on it? Some pills may change color if they are coated and get wet, so the color washes off, but I am not familiar with any Lortab made that way. ## If it's a Watson 540, then it didn't "turn" white. Watson Pharmacuticals is changing the color. The white Watson 540 is still a generic Lortab 10/500. The blue Watson 540 will continue to be sold until pharmacy supplies are depleated then Watson will replace them with the white. ## Other than the color change, do you know what else they changed? I take Lortab 10/500 1-2 every 4 hours not to exceed 7 in a day and have taken Lortabs since my injury in 2005. (The stronger meds make me eupho...

Could it be a Lortab? ## Hopefully you got your answer by now but it is NOT hydrocodone or Lortab. It is generic verampil (name brand Calan, NDC 0378-1180). It is 180mg extended release tablet that is a calcium channel blocker. It is used to lower high blood pressure. ## No, that's not a lortab.... ## I have been taking Lortab for about a year now to help control severe fibromyalgia and severe TMJ. I have had 2 surgeries and am awaiting another, but I am very concerned. Aside from the risk of dependance, withdrawl and liver damage from Acetaminaphen, what other damage could I be doing to my body. Currently my doctor has prescribed Lortab 7...

White Lortab is there any over the counter Meds to help it work? Meds have Been change from pink lortabs, to blue to white. Each time it gets worst. Can I take Tylenol to help, if so how much? ## No, since Lortab already contains Acetaminophen, adding more isn't advisable, because long-term use of high doses has the potential to cause liver damage or failure. Additionally, too much of it taken in a day can be toxic and there have been cases where such toxicity has been fatal. Learn more Lortab details here.
