Bactrim Cause Anxiety

Took bactrim for l-1/2 days. Blood sugar plummetted, severe GI problems, anxiety through the roof! Immediately stopped taking. This was 3 months ago. Side effects continue although slowly improving. Am taking baby steps toward recovering from this awful, poisonous drug. Has anybody else had such a difficult recovery from this? ## It is very unusual for side effects to linger for such a long period of time, especially after taking just a few doses of the medication. There is an article on Medline Plus regarding drug induced low blood sugar, which does list Bactrim as being one of the medications known to cause such an issue. Hi. I was prescribed Bactrim DS 800/160 tablets 2x a day for 10days. I tested negative for mono, strep, and tonsillitis. I do have some boils/abscess and they also gave me ointment for the nose (mupirocin) and body wash (hibiclens). And also (prednisone) was prescribed for my glands swollen. I'm awaiting test results. But my sincere concern is can I take them both together? And I already take kolnopin got anxiety and on the side effects I seen a lot of people said they got nervous, the shakes, couldn't sleep, and other scary symptoms. I'm wondering what I could eat or do so the bactrim won't tear my stomach up? Any info would be greatly appreciate.
