Are Green Oxycodone 15mg Effective

I was just switched from Qualitest oxycodone 15 mg IR to Mylan 15 mg IR because my insurance won't pay for it because the cost went up on Qualitest. My question is I am concerned about the effectiveness of the Mylan oxycodone. I had good pain relief from the Qualitest green pills. I guess my biggest fear is that these new peach pills from Mylan won't take the pain away as we'll as the other brand. I hear stories where people are saying this Mylan brand is crap and another person will say it worked for her. This is the first time I've been given this tiny yellow oxycodone 15mg it's the smallest 15mg I've ever been given by my pharmacy. Has anyone else had these before? I'm use to the green 16mg A214's. Is there a strength difference? Do they work the same? Compared to the mallinkrodt 15 mg oxycodone there is a huge difference. This is for chronic pain issues and the new KVK-t do not help one bit. Can anyone let me know what is going on? Dec. 12, 2011 ## This tablet does contain 15mgs of Oxycodone, but there can be slight variations in the amount of active ingredients in the generics, so you may not be getting the exact same dose that you are used to and it may not work as well for you. The only suggestion I can really make is that you speak to your pharmacy about it and see if they can order the ones made by Mallinckrodt in for you.
