I was just prescribed Amphetamine/dextroamphetamine r 351 20 mg for add, the first day i took it at 11 am yesterday i felt extremly tense and uncomfortable the exact opposite of what i thought it was going to be then at about 12 am i had a very bad headache couldn't go to sleep until 4 am woke up and took half and just felt out of it all day no energy no increased focus i was just wondering if anyone else is on the same drug ??? because all pictures of this drug online look orange and pink and blue which is kind of strange because i got it from a clinic not a regular doctors office . Hey all, I take Dex IR for ADHD-C in the afternoons and it works great. I need to find an XR medication to take in the AM that works as well as my PM Dex booster. Pdoc and I have tried Adderall XR (made me fatigued, flat, and surly--I don't think my brain plays well on l-amphetamine) and Vyvanse (GI side effects and felt like a sugar pill--don't think I metabolize it correctly). I'm thinking ER Dextroamphetamine (the spansules) might be the next logical thing to try. Generics are tricky and I know there is no longer a brand name Dexedrine Spansule. My spouse takes 10 mg twice daily of d-amphetamine salt combo and I take 30 mg Dextroamphetamine twice daily. The one you take just contains Dextroamphetamine, it's a generic for Dexedrine. Is there a diiference between amphetamine salts and amphitamine ## I am not quite certain what you're asking? Amphetamine salts usually refers to mixed salts, such as the active ingredients in Adderall, which are Amphetamines and Dextroamphetamines. Amphetamine itself though is a pretty general term that is used to refer to almost any of them and its relatives.

I took on 20 mg capsule and in a hour nothing happened. Its been about 8 hours now and I'm wondering if i need a bigger dose. When i took nothing happened that people warned me about. I was given this prescription and it is made by actavis inc. I take 30mg and the manufacturer is different and the pill is a orange or peach color and round. It is smaller than the orange or peach pills that I took before.
