I started this medicine, 2 tabs a day, spaced 12 hours apart taken on an empty stomach. After 5 and a half days of taking it I was much worse, with my left leg & arm (my good side) losing all sensation & being very difficult to control. My right (worse) side was no different. I had vertigo & severe problems with equilibrium badly affected. I rang my Neuro who said to stop takin the Fampyra immediately, which I did. Now, after 48 hours off the drug I am worse than ever. I can barely walk at all & have no sensation in my left leg & arm. I am also incredibly weak in me left arm & leg. I am left with just a little use in my right leg & arm. I am desperately hoping that this will disappear once the drug is out of my system. I am extremely worried and frightened.
