lost daughter n law due to her having 143 m/l of methadone, 80.8 vicadene, 11.4 hydromorphone morphin, she also had anoxic-Encephalopathy, the autopsy report stated death due 2 a massive over-dose of methadone. Could u please explain the dosage to me n lay-mens terms. how many pills would 143 m/l consist of, also the same on vicadene, & morphine. I have to take a hair strain drug test today they already know I've been doing it but I don't want them to know how much how do I lower the amount in system? ## I need to know same ## I use methamphetamine daily, and sunday night I put hair coloring on for an hour. An then bleached with a 40 vol lighter color and then a darker color with 20 vol to deposit the color. Next night I put 40 vol on again with lightener and then a 20 vol color. Hello everyone! I'm on 30mg of methadone a day for pain. I recently became sick with a stomach flu. That day I threw up my pills. I waited until I felt better and took them again. The thing is my doctor sends out my urine to a lab to check my levels to make sure I'm taking the correct amount. I'm worried that perhaps some was absorbed the day I got sick. If I skip a day of taking my methadone will that balance out for the day I was sick and took the extras? Please help if anyone knows. I'm a model patient and don't want to get kicked off the meds. Any advice will help.

I am concerned because I had been taking it for over a month ## There's no way to say what levels, since you didn't mention how much you were taking. However, the false positive it causes is usually for Amphetamines, rather than Methamphetamine. Why were you taking it for so long?

I've been going to the hell clinic (methadone) for a lil over 5 yrs. I had 6 take homes for most of that time. I told them i wanted to go down 2 mgs a day. They said i wanted to go down too fast & I'd be "unstable" so they took away ALL my take homes. I told them to start taking me down 5 a day then instead of 2 mgs. I only have 2 more days to go. I don't want to start old pill habits, but will taking Lortabs or small amounts of Morphine help with the withdrawals? I'm taking xanax (prescribed) & lots of vitamins & vit c. & of course Immodium. I found a small Amber colored bottle with a very small amount of water in it with a small white pill, what would this be? ## It might be Methadone, some clinics dose that way, they dissolve the tablets in water and usually in bottles just like the one you've described. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I can't be certain, of course, so this is just a guess. Does anyone else have any ideas?

The vast majority of blood tests can only detect drugs up to 10 days, however, most drugs are out of the blood stream in much less time than that. Since the drug companies had taken propoxyphene (darvocet ) off the market & my Merck Manuel read that methadone had the same chemical structure, my Dr. Had agreed to let me try methadone in a very small amount for my severe spinal pain. There was nothing left for me or most all older people to try without mental & horrible physical side affect until I started with 1/4 of 10 mg methadone 2 X a day for the 1st yr. generic for pamine ## Did you mean Methscopolamine? It is most commonly used to treat ulcers, or other stomach issues, by reducing the amount of stomach acid produced. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, and flatulence.

There was a large distributor who was recently shut down, due to questions over the large amounts of controlled substances they moved each month. I am 34 years old and a addict. I have been an addict since I was 21 years old. I have always been able to stop using when I wanted until last July when a string of very disturbing events happened in my life leaving me to attempt taking my own life. I jumped off a bridge falling 72 plus feet to the ground and damaging most of my body. I may be alive but i wish I was dead. I have been tking methadone for many years, recently my Dr. ordered a drug urine test. I am wondering if she is the one prescribing the methadone, why is she ordering a drug test? ## She may want to just check and make sure that you are taking the medication, as prescribed and not abusing it or selling it. It is very common for doctors to do this. If you are prescribed a certain amount, at a certain dosing interval, the levels in your urine should fall within a certain range. Anything outside of that range can alert them to a potential problem.
