Is the Amneal generic brand for oxycodone 20mg, gray in color, round, marked A 50 on either side of the score line and no marks on other side IMMEDIATE RELEASE? It certainly has the quick melting and is extremely bitter just like KVK I have been taking which I am positive is IR. I hope someone knows the answer....thanks in advance. ## First of all, to clarify, the only actual immediate release Oxycodone is only available in a 5mg capsule. Beyond that, there are regular release formulations, and the extended release Oxycontin. In many cases the regular release is just called 'immediate release' because all of the medication is released, at once, unlike Oxycontin, which slowly releases the dosage overtime. However, the regular release formulations still take about 15 to 20 minutes...

Amneal's oxycodone, generic for percocet 10/325 is white, oblong, blank on one side, and imprinted with IP 204 (not IP 203)! I usually take Watson or Mallinckrodt, 10/325, (2) tablets every 4-6 hours (240 monthly), but I was given Amneal today when filling my script, and I am not happy! I have cancer, and I also take morphine sulphate 30 mgs as well (1 every 12 hours), and Fioricet with Codeine for severe migraines (as needed)! I do not feel Amneal is sufficient or even close to the chemical makeup as Watson or Mallinckrodt for controlling pain/chronic pain! Amneal does not act the same way on my body, and I should not have to take more for same result! I think when you pay cash for your medications, and have been on the medication for 8 years, using the same pharmacy, they should o...

I need to find out what pill i got is. It is small round light people and has a A on top and the number 31 underneath it. ## Hello, Let! How are you? This tablet does not contain Oxycodone. It is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Oxybutynin, which is used to treat urinary frequency and incontinence. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, urinary retention and blurred vision. Is there anything else I can help with?

I just got mine today and they are not worth a sh... I very disappointed in these new laws that is affecting the people . Wastson or dan or DuPont . I thought was the brand but they don't carry them here. Guess I have to mail oder them . watson is the only way. I just dont understand why the government has to change things. Tussnexx . Keeps changing patent so they can keep it write o well . I be huntting really brand Percocet next month ## Hi James, Because they are different manufacturers, Amneal more than likely contains a different set of "inactive" ingredients than Actavis (formally known as Watson). From my own research, I'm led to believe that these binders/fillers are the root cause behind some pills not working as effectively as their "identical" counterp...

I have been using Hydrocodon-Acet 5/325 AMN (or AMNEA) since surgery about 6 years ago. I don't take it as a regular med although for a month in the Re-hab I was given it at least once a day as a sleep aid. At home I took it as a pain reliever only when needed and lately I have been in need of sleep and take one at bed-time about twice a week. Now it is being treated as a narcotic and I am worried about it. I haven't seen the surgeon who did the last surgery since he saw me about 3 months after and he wanted to see me one more time. Unfortunately I could not get any more transportation to see him and so I cancelled. That was about 7 months ago. At that time I was sleeping better. Now I can't get any more of the Hydrocodone without his approval. I haven't asked my GP to d...

Pill A51 is this oxycodone? ## Blue, A (then a score) 51 all on the same side? Decently thick? If so, yes ## You can look them up just type pill ID in your search box. It will show you a pic and what is written on pill. I do it all the time. Hope this helps ## Just to add some specifics, this tablet is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 30mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Are there any other questions or concerns?

Is there any help available to help defray the cost of Oxycodone from Amnea. Iam unemployed due to accident at work . I am no longer on Workmens Comp. I currently have NO medical insurance also because of the prohibitive cost... ## There are no assistance programs for generic medications, since they are cheaper than the name brands by their very nature of being generics. And, at this time, I can't find an assistance program listed for the name brand, which could be Roxicodone, either. Have you tried checking prices at various pharmacies in your area? Your doctor may also have other ideas for alternatives that may be cheaper.

I have some A 51 30 mg oxycodones and noticed that they turn a yellow/green when damp. I know one of the inactive ingredients is D&C yellow #10 so that may be the cause, but I wanted to check to see if anyone else has noticed the same thing and make sure that it is normal. Thanks for any help in advance. ## I spilled a little water on 1 of my A 51's and it changed color too. Is there a reason this happens? ## Hello, Mike and Jen! How are you both? Moisture can affect the shade, color and tone of virtually anything, including pills. Depending on the specific type of water, you may see different colors at different times, due to small chemical reactions. For instance, you may see a different color from tap water, than from purified water, since there are chemicals in the tap water...

I've used Rhodes, Amneal & now just starting Actavis. (Oxycodone 10/325) The Rhodes seemed to work well. The Amneal seemed to barely work at all. The verdict is still out on the Actavis. I'd welcome any suggestions on generics of this drug. ## @Steve, Actavis took over Watson brand and ruined the product in comparison as stated by so many long term Watson customers. As a previous Watson lover I can say that Actavis is hit and miss at times. The 5/325 oxy are huge round hard pills that do not work at all. The softer 7.5/325 oxy are effective but not as good as the old Watson by any means. I have just started to use the 10/325 oxy and I honestly think the 7.5s worked better. Actavis is getting a bad reputation as time goes on but with alot of research on other brands and opini...

I have Oxycodone Hydrochloride with the Imprint A 48 on it, I used to take the ones with K 56. What is the difference? Are they extended release? How many hours apart can you take them? ## Hello, Erin! How are you? They are the same medication, just manufactured by different companies. In this case, the one with the A 48 marking is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they list it as being in a regular release formulation. As to your dosing schedule, you should follow your doctor's prescribing instructions as it can vary from person to person, anywhere from 6 to 8 hours. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I searched for pills A 04 and it turns out that it's Oxycodone hydrochloride 5 mg and that it's not Oxycodsone with the Tylenol. Or does the Oxycodone hydrochloride 5 mg come with tylenol already? ## This tablet is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Oxycodone, in a regular release formulation. Hello, First, let me start by saying that I am somewhat opiate naive. I am not in pain management and hopefully won't need to be. I've had scripts here and there for norco and percocet. It is the generic percocet, or more specifically the oxycodone, i'd like to discuss here. Over the past year i've had issues (such as a broken elbow, recurring kidney stones, and a staghorn lodged in my renal pelvis [kidney]), that have lead to several prescriptions for percocet from a total of 4 different manufacturers. Mallinckrodt 10/325, Amneal 7/325, Rhodes Pharmacy 10/325, and AuroBindo 10/325. I've read a lot of reviews about the aforementioned generic manufacturers. The majority of them have been negative especially for Rhodes. Mallinckrodt and AuroBindo are the only two that ...
