My insurance company switched me to this generic pill (Alyacen 1/35) and I have not yet started taking it. I am somewhat concerned about it because I see that it is manufactured in India and I wonder what kind of quality control they have over drug manufacturing in that country. I know it was FDA approved, but how do I know it is safe? ## HI, Donna! I found a round peach colored pill. It iss marked A1 or if you flip it over it could be v1 the marking is kinda worn Im pretty sure that is a1.Have not been able to find any info on what this pill is. There afre no markings the back side. I am taking alyacen 1/35 and was four hours late taking my pill. It is the first pill of my second week and have been on it for four months. Is it still safe to have unprotected sex? How long should I use backup protection?
