Allegra 018

I want to confirm that the pill I have is actually Allegra. It is a small, cylindrical, pink pill with a curly-que on the front and the number 06 on the back. I've been given this for allergies (but it's not like the 180 mg pill). Just want to be sure. Thanks.

I am wondering if anyone has taken more than 180 mg of Allegra daily and lived to tell about it?! Just kidding about that last part. I have a particularly bad case of post nasal drip and I DO get some relief from the 180. However, I am considering trying half a tab (90 mg) at night to get more relief. I KNOW what the recommendation is...I am just wondering. Refilled my fexofenadine (Allegra generic) but this time there is not a swirl e on the other side. Still peach oval with 018 on the other side. eliptical peachy colored pill with 810 on one side. is it a cholesterol lowering drug ## I believe the marking you're looking at is 018 and the tablets contains 180mgs of Fexofenadine, it is a generic or store brand of Allegra, which is used to treat allergies. Is the generic for Allegra D ( 60/120 mg) still made and is it a prescription medication? ## Hi Bud, The generic name for Allegra D is Fexofenadine + Pseudoephedrine; and from what I could gather, it is still manufactured, but only available with your doctor's prescription. I'm not sure why this is (being that Allegra D is now available OTC), so you'd probably have to contact your doctor for more details on that. I also found additional information stating that it may have already become an over-the-counter medication as of this year (I don't know however if this statement applies to the generic version or not, but I don't see why it wouldn't): "Allegra-D is a combination product containing fexofenadine and pseudoephedrine in strengths of 60/120mg and 180/240...

I am suffering from Atopic Dematitis since 1990 and taking Allegra 180 mg a day whenever I get rashes in the skin. But when the season changing timings, my itching will be severe and red patches occur all over the body. Then, I ought to take a course of WYSOLONE of 20 mg for 15 days minimum and gradually reduced to 10 mg for a week. Like this, I ought to be in steriod base once in every 2 or 3 years. WHAT WILL BE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF THIS INTAKE OF WYSOLONE.
