So about a month and a half ago, my period came late. I had had unprotected sex on a day I was likely ovulating and, while I never took a pregnancy test, I am convinced I was pregnant and miscarried. I was pregnant before (it also ended in miscarriage), so I am familiar with the feeling. Because I had miscarried, I expected my next period to be late or a little off (my period did indeed start a few days later than I'd thought it would). Then I started taking Loestrin FE. I have been on it for nearly two weeks and have been bleeding the entire time. It's very, very light and painless, but continuous enough to be annoying. I had a miscarriage 2 months ago. I didn't know it got an infection and took augmentin 875 - 125 milligram tablets for 10 days. Did that cure whatever I had plus any other possible infections? ## Are you still having any symptoms of having an infection? Pain? Fever? Pus? Vaginal discharge? If not, then it most likely worked. I am very sorry about the miscarriage. The FDA lists the typical Augmentin side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea....

Hi, I miscarried 9 months ago when I was in my 3rd trimester. Now I have stomach cramps and my tummy is always moving as if I'm carrying a child inside and i feel like I'm exhaling rotten smelling breath at times, but I have done several home pregnancy tests and my results are negative. Round,white and it has a line in the middle ## Hi Mandisa, I did some research on Metronidazole to see if it has been linked to miscarriages and according to wise geek.com, studies involving animals do not provide evidence of any harm coming to the mother or fetus. They have, however, found that this drug can cause a miscarriage when injected straight into the abdomen of pregnant animals. Even though I believe an animal study can't really provide an effective answer as to how a medication will effect humans, the studies have obviously shown that there is a possibility of miscarriage. I am a 25 years old..its 6 years now I have been married..no kids..my gyno prescribed me clomid.. in the first dose of clomid I had regular periods.. no problem at all but the last dose I took and missed my periods for almost 3 months.. I thought maybe it's normal because I usually miss my periods..
