The shape, size and color, is, however, up to the manufacturer. That said, it would be impossible for me to post pictures of all the possible generics on the market to see if you have a match. I'm searching for a current list of generic Adderall manufacturers (2020). ## Hmmm, aside from calling pharmacies and finding out which brands they stock, it might be possible to stitch together some information based on a couple of different sources to get a rough idea of which companies currently manufacture generic Adderall. For example, if you search this site's NDC database for Amphetamine (one of the ingredients), it gives you a lot of results. Next to each result is a date, so if you go through the pages and look for the more current dates then that could give you an idea. Also, DailyMed has a similar list but I don't see dates unless you click on each record. I am currently without insurance and I had to pay $275 (cheapest I could find) for my GENERIC Adderall XR 20mg/60 count. I have read that Teva was the only one to produce the generic version for 180 days from the launch date, which was 4/2/09. My math indicates their 180 days will be up in two days (9/30/09) but I can't find out if any other companies are going to be producing the generic which should drive the price down significantly. I agree with you all in the difference between the peach oval generic pills vs. the orange round generic pills. The oval ones - I stay focused throughout the day at my job with almost no side effects. Recently, my normal pharmacy who I have picked my prescriptions up from for the 7 years switched to the round orange ones. Assuming they were the "same", I took them. The first day I already could notice a HUGE difference! My biggest complaint was the headaches! Not to mention very irritable, fatigue, weakness. Many pharmacies use whatever companies products are currently available to to dispense. Shire's name brand products are often covered under all but a few insurance companies. It is the "most effective" in Shire's opinion. Teva, a Israeli pharmaceutical firm, as well as others make generic off shoots of mixed amphetamine salts cocombinations. They may be in short supply in areas. Small independent pharmacies are not allotted as many of these CII stimulates. Camber's new generic for Adderall IR 15mg is no good. Prior to it I got 10mg Adderall from CVS and it worked great! Just got a fill from Kroger since CVS was out of stock. The brand is from Camber and not only does it not work, it makes me feel unwell, sleepy and super irritated. It’s crazy how companies are able to differentiate in their generics like they do.
