is this med just like actifed cold and allergy ## Hi Tina, I posted the active ingredients in each one of these medications so you could see the differences: Actifed Cold And Sinus contains: Acetaminophen + Pseudoephedrine + Triprolidine Actifed Sinus Daytime contains: Acetaminophen + Pseudoephedrine Actifed Cold and Allergy contains: Chlorpheniramine + Phenylephrine As you can see, all three of these contain different ingredients depending on whether or not your primary focus is treating allergy symptoms and a cold or maybe just sinus related issues. I always found Actifed to be the only cold medicine that worked for me. Now I cant find it at any of my local drug stores even behind the counter. Is it still available? Even the pharmacist I talked to thought it was on the shelf and then realized they quit carrying it. ## Yes, it keeps my sinus issues under control while I sleep. Is aprodine still being made or is it going to be phased out? I am having increasingly more difficulty finding it. I use it to control my allergies. Nothing else seems to work as effectively. ## Aprodine contains the active ingredients Pseudoephedrine and Tripolodine. I am not sure if this specific one is still being made, but it is available in other products, such as Actifed Cold&Allergy and Triafed. However, due to the fact that they contain Pseudoephedrine, they are kept behind the counter in the pharmacy, so you have to ask for them, then present identification and sign for the purchase. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you very much for the information. You answered my question, and I appreciate it very much! Happy New Year to you!
