Which is the better generic company? I just got GLOBAL and they are like taking sleeping pills. I'm sleeping 20 to 24 hours a day for days. If I didn't need to pee, I might never wake up. How can I get prescription assistance with generic 30 mg adderall? ## There are no assistance programs for generic medications, since by their very nature they are already much cheaper than their name brand counterparts. Additionally, since there is a generic available, there isn't even an assistance program available for the name brand Adderall. The best suggestion I can really make is to price shop the pharmacies in your area to see who has it available for the cheapest price. Another alternative would be to look into some of the free pharmacy discount cards and programs, using one of them if you have a local pharmacy that participates may save you a little money. I agree with you all in the difference between the peach oval generic pills vs. the orange round generic pills. The oval ones - I stay focused throughout the day at my job with almost no side effects. Recently, my normal pharmacy who I have picked my prescriptions up from for the 7 years switched to the round orange ones. Assuming they were the "same", I took them. The first day I already could notice a HUGE difference! My biggest complaint was the headaches! Not to mention very irritable, fatigue, weakness. I live with a questionable character who I have caught red handed taking my meds from me. I am prescribed amphetamine salts 30 mg xr, generic for adderall. They are orange and clear capsules filled with orange beads. The time I caught him I found that he had taken the pill apart and ingested the beads, then put the pill back together so I wouldn't know...really sneaky. I too have had horrible experiences with the generic versions of adderall..I am currently on Brand Adderall XR 30 MG..I've wracked my brain trying to understand how such drastically different results can be received if the medications "should" have the same active ingredient but "may have" different "inactive" ingredients. So, the only way that my ADHD brain lol could understand this is to compare it to one of my favorite recipes:Chicken cordon bleu... Most of the post I'm reading are blasting the teva generic. I have tried core pharma's 30mg round pink tablets, and yes the ingredients are different between the two manufacturers, teva and core pharma. I've taken ADD medicine for six years and can tell you they are different. If it's hard for you to get up and get your day started try core pharma. If your up and in a slump and it's around 4pm take teva and you'll notice exactly what your supposed to notice. Teva is pure relaxation and focus where core pharma is harsh and cortisol inducing. Corepharma adderall 30 mg is not really effective for concentration and just seems to becoming less and less effective for my add symptoms. Zero help w/ motivation. For convenience I had my script for 30 mg Adderall filled @ target instead CVS. When I opened the bottle I immediately noticed it was physically different but was not concerned because Drug stores switch generics for several reasons such as cost and availability. After taking my first dose I noticed after 2-3 hrs. that I was not getting any noticeable or same response that I was accustomed to for my ADHD (combined) and depression! So I took a closer look at the pill and noticed it looked smaller and it had a #28 on it. My usual pharmacy was out of the orange pills, forcing me to resort to the pink ones, a decision I regret and will never repeat. They're less expensive, which might explain why they opt for them. I've been on a routine of 30 mg twice a day for years and have never required an increase. Though there is another pharmacy within a 25-mile radius, I never felt the need to go there until now, realizing the pink generics are ineffective for my condition! I am currently without insurance and I had to pay $275 (cheapest I could find) for my GENERIC Adderall XR 20mg/60 count. I have read that Teva was the only one to produce the generic version for 180 days from the launch date, which was 4/2/09. My math indicates their 180 days will be up in two days (9/30/09) but I can't find out if any other companies are going to be producing the generic which should drive the price down significantly.
