Hello, I have taken Minastrin 24 Fe for at least 3 years now. I have not had any trouble with it but November of 2015 I missed a period. My periods resumed again in December 2015 and have been normal and on time since then. It is now February 2017 and I am waiting for my period to start. I took my last brown sugar pill today. I should have started two days ago. Is this normal? Should I be concerned? I take my pill the same time each day and have never missed a day. ## If you haven't missed any pills, there really shouldn't be any reason to worry, though there is never any harm in checking for pregnancy, if you're concerned. The FDA does list missed periods, or irregular ones as being possible side effects of oral contraceptives. Has there been any change?

has anyone had one for more than 5 years? I have had mine for 6 years. I still have no period but this month I started cramping... I know that it says it's not effective after 5 years but I figured if I was not having a period then it must be working... ## I had Mirena coil for six years. Agree with your reasoning about how it must still be effective if still not bleeding (unless you're now menopausal?), but, I believe in the wisdom of the body so if suddenly you're cramping, and it's meant to be replaced after 5 yrs, I'd just get it done. I had began to spot-stain tiny bit; also premenstrual aches last 3 mónths. It was not uncomfortable to have it removed, and I had a new one put in straight away. ## Just to add some information for anyone else reading this... ...

I am 24 and have Klinefelter syndrome. my test levels vary from 94 to the highest at 136. I have never been able to gain muscle and Always tired. I was just curious to how we'll it works as far as energy and helping you gain mass with intense exercise? ## Hello, Blake! How are you? I'm very sorry about the health problem you have. Some men get very good results from AndroGel, some don't. It really depends on the individual and how their body reacts to the added Testosterone. Side effects can include headache, dizziness, irritability and skin irritation. Have you already tried supplementation or would this be the first time for you?

I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and started using pain killers for years to cope with working and then was prescribed suboxen 24mg that's 8mg 3 times a day for about 5 years. From my experience suboxen is very strong for pain and stores in your bones and fat so it takes a whole month for it to completely come out of your body. SO INSTEAD OF THE SLOW PAINFULL POCESS OF TAPERING OFF OF THE SUBOXEN I find it easier to replace it with pain killers/opiates for about a month and then use the suboxen for a few days! The levels will drop and the suboxen will come out of your system with out the with drawls. If your experiencing with drawls from suboxen you may want to try marijuana to sleep and help with the pain, eating and anxiety. Also staying hydrated (water), taking vitamins, a...

I first started having extreme anxiety after I had my first child at 24. I had postpartum depression for 2 months it was horrible I couldn't go out in public I felt dizzy all the time, confused, panicked that someone would hurt my baby, it was horrible. I took the next steps and joined forums for support and found a physiatrist for help. I was first put on Effexor and it was horrible it made me feel worse, then my Dr put me on Lexapro 10mg and by the third week my life was back in track again. I felt happy, alive and back to normal. Until I started to experience full panic attacks driving etc it was horrible my anxiety was gone but not my panic attacks, so Dr put me on 20mgs and it worked I stopped having panic attacks and weaned my self off the drug until I had self control for 7 y...

I had taken Loestrin Fe 24 for about two years without a period and about six months ago switched to Lo Loestrin. I still do not have a period. However, I generally have period-like symptoms every month during the placebo pills. This month though I have had severe breast pain and daily cramps starting at the placebos and continuing two weeks into my pack and today I noticed a brown/bloody discharge and more severe cramps. This is very strange to me as the pain has been more severe and I never experience spotting or anything. I had planned on calling my gyno today before I realized the discharge and am still planning on calling because I have never had an actual exam and have some anxiety about never having a period anyways. Any idea what this could be or has this happened to anyone else...

I started taking loestrin 24 fe about five years ago and then made the switch to minastrin 24 fe when the company discontinued loestrin. Typically, I will have little to no bleeding during periods and it always takes at least 3 iron pill days for bleeding to even begin. Recently, however, I had extremely heavy bleeding and cramping after just one iron pill that has continued for several days. This has happened one other time. Is it normal to go 6 months barely needing a panty liner during periods to having one so heavy that even ultra tampons (more absorption than super plus!) can only suffice for a couple of hours? If my body does what it did last time, I will go back to no periods after this horrid one. ## Hello, Sunshine! How are you? Yes, that can happen, if your estrogen levels sur...

White Pill with mylan 244 on it ## new color pill from v.a. color is blue (oval)for mylan 244-verapamil 120 mg. not white as stated on your description. My blue pillis imprinted as above. ## I have been on lisinopril 10mg for years, using whichever generic was given at pharmacy. Recently they started using Mylan (L24), and I developed what I describe as a feeling like chest pain in solar plexus, or constant anxiety. When I quit taking this it seems to resolve. I wonder if this generic is in some way inferior or contaminated!

I have chronic & debilating pain EVERYWHERE & after giving me Demerol & 240 percocet every 14 days, a pain management centre (after I PASSES "no drug seeking behavior, dr shopping or issues w/ random blood evaluations proving I only took what was RX'ed, don't drink/use rec drugs) but he is 86 yrs old & ill: expected to die & left me 2 find another Dr- after 8 yrs w/ him (Ambulatory Internal Medicine Specialist) & birth to 30 when my Dr retired w/ this referral- b4 I got sick, I was 13 yrs into my social work career in jails, nothing slowed me down ever. I came to my doctor and asked if we could try to decrease my fentanyl use (was 100mcg) and use medical marijuana in its place. Im down to 12mcg of fentanyl, and im coping, but the pain is worse. Im really scared when I'm supposed to stop the fentanyl altogether. I've been through the sickness of withdrawl before. An ER doctor didn't check my meds before he ordered Nubain. The nursing immediately counteracts against the fentanyl and i got really sick. I never want to feel that way again. Has anyone here done this successfully? ## I could not wait to get off the Fentanyl patches. They made me feel innebriated 24/7 and so my doctor decided due to sensitive issues we will discontinue it. Taper and discontinuation was a mutually agreed to action, it was consensual. I got pass and...

Hi all, I had mirena inserted 6 weeks after my daughter was born so July of '09 I had it in for 3 years and thought all was well. I am 24 years old and already have 3 children so in other words very fertile.Anyways I would have occasional bleeding that never felt like a real period until the third year when it stopped completely. Shortly after I started having severe cramps, fatigue, worse depression, loss of libido, fogginess, an extreme hair loss. Once the cramps started to feel like I was in labor I started to look into it. I knew it was the mirena so had it removed right away. I started bleeding very lightly 2 weeks later for only a few days, then about 6 weeks later I bled like crazy! And have had horrible cramps. I always had very light short periods before mirena and never ha...

Hello, friends! I started the Fentanyl patch 100mc today after OxyContin treatment my highest dose was 80OP up to 4 per 24 hours. I suffer from agonizing chronic pain due to severe nerve damage in my feet (medical neglect and misdiagnosed 3 years ago). I've build up opioid tolerance pretty quickly, so my doctor suggested the Fentanyl patches, plus, I felt "victimized by the system" - all and everyone plays the "Cops", lecturing me about the risks of opioids, treating me like a "junkie". Nothing against those that use these meds recreationally, but because of those very people, I will convulse in ER, and the attending doctor will insist on reaching my neurologist first before administering the pain relief... Finally, my doctor suggested these patches - I am MO...

My fiance has permanent spinal cord and nerve damage from a spinal fusion surgery in 2001. He was a very active, happy, outgoing person, now he lays in bed 24/7 and suffers. He has been on meds for a very long time and they have had to increase them due to his tolerance level. he has gone to the same Dr. and we have always used the same pharmacy. Today we went to his monthly visit and his Dr. said she had to cut his 360 methadone to 180, and his 240 30 mg oxycodone to 180. because the DEA has decided this is what he should take. She did not want to do it, but said the pharmacy would not fill it. We tried but she was right. they would not fill it. So we went back and got the 180 scripts but then she would not even fill those. His Dr.appt was on a Tuesday last month because of the holiday...

I have been taking Verapamil 240 ER for many years. It works fairly well. But each time I went to get a 90 day supply it kept going up and up! It was some where near $39.00 when I first started taking it. The last two times I got a 90 day supply it was $40.00. ~Then 3 months passed and it was( $47.00 ) for a.3 month supply) It is now time to have it refilled. The Dr. had it changed to Verapamil 120mg (regular Not ER, or slow released) twice a day because of cost being so high!! However I cannot take it. It makes me so dizzy and nauseated !! I called the drug store to see if I still had refills on the verapamil ER. She said they do. But the cost for the verapamil 240 EX had went up substantially. She said it was made by TABZENITH??? And the price now for a 90 day supply would be $167.00!...

I've been taking zolpidem tartrate aka ambien for 11 years. As soon as the generic came out by Teva I noticed it does not put me to sleep at all. None of my meds have changed. Have you heard any complaints about the strength of Teva's zolpidem? ## Hello, Gi! How are you? Has there been any change? Is the marking TEVA 74? That should be the marking on their 10mg Zolpidem tablet. However, there can be fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient from one generic to another. Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, they are allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20% and they don't have to measure against other generics, just the name brand. Thus, one could be slightly higher or lower in the amount of the active ingredient than another one. Though, s...

I received this from mail order after taking wellbutrin 300 xl for about 5 years. The round white pill's only marking is A102. has anyone had experience with this medication? Is it realy the same? ## Just last month mypill had WPI 3332 on it. This months refill has the A 102. ## Yes A 102 contains 300mgs of controlled release Bupropion, the active ingredient in Wellbutrin and Zyban. This is an antidepressant that is also used for smoking cessation. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and dry mouth. Read more: Are there any other questions? ## Is it safe to take Prestiq and Bupropion at the same time? ## Yes. They work on different chemicals in the brain. My wife, age 63 has been on Oleptro Extended Release 150MG for 2 years for MDD (major depressive disorder). She takes one tablet at night before bed. It has been working well for her. However, when I went to get the refill her 30 day supply, Sam's Club said they could not get it because their supplier--Bergman--had it on back order with no specific time to supply. Having some trouble staying quit, but am dealing with it! So far , the only symptoms I've had from Chantix are the dreams, and being unfocused, but not so bad. ## There are a lot of individuals who report some horrible side effects from Chantix, but it sounds like your doing great! Have you experienced any bad side effects from this drug? My dad has been smoking for over 40 years, but he decided to cold turkey it just this year and stick it out.
