My friend got this pill for back pain. It has 2102 on one side and a V on the other. It is an antidepressant. Amitriptyline is a fairly safe drug although it can (and usually does) cause EXTREME drowsiness. It should not be taken before driving, etc until you know how it will effect you. Most people continue to become drowsy after taking it so they take it before bedtime.
