What does Metformin 1000 mg look like in all forms? ## Metformin is a generic medication, so it is manufactured by several different companies and they will all have different markings to enable their identification, thus there is really no way I could post what all of them look like and the descriptions. The closest match I've found is Metformin (1000 mg); which is an oral anti-diabetic drug in the Biguanide class. It is the first-line drug of choice for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, in particular, in overweight and obese people and those with normal kidney function. It is a white oval pill with the imprint GP 128 (divided by a score line) Manufacturer: Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc.
