I just realized my painkillers are not scored down the middle,they are small yellow round tablets with an fancy V on one side and 230 on other.It it okay to break them? I'm taking 5 mg of oxycodone 2x's a day. Can I split the pink oxycodone 10 mg hcl k 56 in half and use up extra tablets that I have in hand? Ive been taking 20 mg oxycodone daily for the past 6 months just to take the edge off, didnt think it would be that big of a deal because Im not very familiar with the drug. Before that i was a heavy H addict for 13 years, but have been clean for the past year after going through a 2 year program at a commune. Would like to know who distributes a 40mg yellow oxycodone with half moon and 330? What company? ## Hi Rebecca - The "half moon" sounds a lot like either the old Actavis logo or the Alvogen logo. Unfortunately I can't find a version with 330 on it from their product listings. Actavis does distribute a 40mg yellow oxycodone but with "OP 40" on it. But Alvogen's markings are a bit closer - They have an Oxycodone 10mg + Acetaminophen 325 mg pill (generic Percocet) which is round and yellow with the inscription 230 along with the Alvogen logo on them (NDC 47781-230). I was in a horrible accident. My Dr. Put me on Dillaudid 4 mg. After a half month I cut myself down to Dilaudid 2 mg. When that was gone, my Dr. Put me on Oxycodone 10, to keep down withdrawals. My dr. Changed my 20 mg Oxycodone for Oxycodone/Acetaminophen 10/325 Which is stronger because the 10/325 isn't working. ## The 20 mg. is 2 times stronger than the 10mg. The 325 part is just Tylenol . The 20 mg is oxycodone which the very strong part that kills your pain . Your Dr. Seems to have cut your pain strength in half. ## @Tessa, I agree with Smith, in that your doctor nearly cut your dose/pain relieving effects in half (even after taking into consideration the 325mgs of Acetaminophen - which is very subtle in my opinion). Subtracting that extra 10mgs of Oxycodone was the biggest alteration and is probably the reason why you're not feeling like the Percocet is working. However, that's not entirely accurate in this case, since the Acetaminophen augments the action of the Oxycodone. I'm taking norco 10 mg 3 x day. I was taking 5 mg oxycodone along with the Norco at different times. I was starting to get no pain relief. My doctor recently changed me to 15 mg ir morphine tabs and now because it was not relieving the pain increased it to 30 mg er morphine taking it every 12 hrs. It's making me sick and not relieving the pain. Can I cut the er morphine pills in half safely. I'm still taking the Norco as needed.
