I too used to take the Watson Marked ones, but CVS switched to these and I find these VERY VERY effective. I think that the reason some people don't like them is there body is used to the other and a lot of it maybe "brain" issues. Your brain is used to taking "Watson's" and when you change your brain is saying Ol no something different it won't work, helpppp... But rest assured your body WILL get used to them and start to work, it just takes time. Thanks, Jeremy ## When you switch brand names or manufacturers the drug itself doesn't necessarily change, but rather the binders or fillers that they put with it. For this very reason, I believe the differences and side effects people feel have a lot to do with certain "inactive" ingredients that may o... ...

What is the difference between roxicodone and oxycodone ? ## From what I understand, Roxicodone and Oxycodone are both the exact same medication. The only difference you might find would probably be in the list of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) that different manufacturers use in their tablets. I think the real confusion sets in when people start discussing Percocet (which is sometimes partially labeled as Oxycodone). However, it also contains Acetaminophen; the differentiating factor between those two meds. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Oxycodone Details I hope this info helps to answer your question! ## Will oxycodone and roxicet be metabolized the same in the body?....thats all i NEED to know ...

Hi i am a 28 year old female andI am on 10/325 oxycodone for almost 5 years now for lumbar chronic pain. My new MD wants me to see a surgeon or get off of the painkillers altogether. I have seen two different surgeons in the past and they both told me surgery isn't an option. But my MD thinks otherwise and wants me to get an MRI this medication is the only way I can function daily. I have tried to stop taper of and such but it just causes my back to lock up so bad I can't even walk. How can I convince my doc that I need this medication. Any advice would help greatly. And this dr is the only dr I can see in my town due to my insurance plan. Otherwise I'd have to see one 68 miles away so a new dr won't help. ## Hi katien28, I'm so sorry to hear about your situation. Un... ...

They are most definitely a Percocet 10/325 ## No.. But there is a percocet that is A333 made by Actavis. ## @Phillies, The only pill I'm finding online that is marked "R333", happens to be a 40mg Pantoprazole sodium delayed release tablet, used to treat symptoms of GERD and esophagitis. You never mentioned the color or shape of the tablet either, which in this case is a round yellow pill. But if you say that it's Percocet, it sounds to me like the imprint was simply misinterpreted. Because as Darwinski stated, "A333" is a 10/325mg Percocet made by Actavis; and is a white capsule-shaped pill by description. So there you have it. This could be either one of the pills mentioned above, depending on what you would describe the pill to look like? I hope this helps! ...

Watson is now Actavis if the article I just read is true , so your A333 is generic Percocet and hopefully works as well as the white round Watson , not sure yet tho . ## That is correct. Watson acquired Actavis and has dropped the Watson name. The tablet with the A333 marking contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Percocet. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Percocet details here. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Where can I read more about this.....Watson acquired Actavis and has dropped the Watson name? I read this information about the pills on here and people want to make you think your crazy about medicine you have been taking for years. Like I have been taking the WATSON brand Oxycodone 10/325 for years and 1 always worked. It was the only pain med I was taking. I get up in the morning and hurt so bad I would take 1 and with in 15 minutes I felt I could make it through the day. I always had some left over every month. On Jan 2014 I went to get my meds filled and all the sudden no one seems to have the WATSON brand so I got stuck with ACTAVIS brand pill A333 on it for the whole month of Jan I hurt so bad then in Feb I I told my Dr when I got my Prescription he told me to try another pharmacy. Please tell me if there is an EXACT replacement for the Watson 392 generic for Percocet. I know Watson has purchased Actavis. I have been taking the Watson 392 for years and the substitute does not help me at all. I take in combination with Fentanyl. Are there other companies that make the "Watson 392" configuration under a different number and name??? I have contacted Actavis several times to see if they have an exact replacement and they have not replied to any of my e-mail. CVS has substituted a Actavis that is supposed to be the same and it isn't. It does not work for me. The number is A333. This is an Endocet substitute and Endocts have never worked for me. ## I don't have an answer...ALL of the Watson Percocet users are miserable now..myself included. Actavis is no... ...

I am having a mri tomorrow ......I am very claustrophobic so dr gave me a Valium relax me.....I am wondering is my Oxycodone RX would work better for relaxing me please help ## Sorry late reply but my Dr had me on both. Hope went well. ## @Sissy, Because these types of medications affect each person differently, there's really no telling how you'll end up responding to Oxycodone (a potent pain reliever) for the added purpose of "relaxation" - especially since that's not what it's specifically indicated/marketed for. In the event that Valium isn't working, what I would probably do personally is give the Oxycodone a trial period and see how it works for me over the course of several days/weeks. Or like post #1 stated, you could also ask your doctor if ... ...
