HOW DO TAKE Iselpin CORRECTLY?
our doctor said that iselpin should be dissolved in water before taking (as in effervescent tabs) but literatures do not say so. what is the correct way? the tablet doesn't look like an effervescent one. how many forms does iselpin have? ## Iselpin contains the active ingredient Sucralfate and it is normally used to treat active ulcers. And yes, it does come in several forms and it sounds like you have the regular tablets, which are just intended to be swallowed orally. I'd suggest checking with your pharmacist, before using them, just to be certain. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Im taking Iselpin before lunch and before bedtime as prescribed by my doctor together with domperedone 3x a day and esomeprazole before breakfast and dinner for one month. Is it ok to ta...

For how long you can use daflon 500 mg
I have been using daflon 500 mg since March 25th 4 tablets twice a daily to cure heomorrgiuds and I am feeling much better now but it seems I should continue using this medicin for complete cure. I am wondering for how long I should use it. Thanks for your reply ## Hello, I am working on Sucralfate. Anyone with similar interest? ## Daflon is actually a supplement given to help with such conditions, it is not, however, a medication. As such, there is no harm in its use, as long as you are not taking far too much and only your doctor could really advise you as to whether or not you should continue to use it for them. What has your doctor suggested? As to the Sucralfate, we do have a page with some information here: Are there any questions? ## medicine DAFLON 500 mg, is what for? and what ...

Sucralfate Suspension
my mother takes Sucralfate suspension, she is unable to swollow it in tablet form due to an oesophogeal stricture, is there another similar preparation? ## Well, if she has been prescribed a suspension, that should be a liquid formulation. If her pharmacy has given her a tablet, then they have given her the wrong thing. How was the prescription written? Is her doctor aware of her swallowing difficulties? ## Is SucralFate derived from Sucralose? Does it have the components of Sucralose? I had a severe allergic reaction to it and it seems, now, I have hives if I get a tiny bit of sucralose in my system since I had the allergic reaction to Sucralfate. Is there any relation to it? Is it made of sucralose?

Nausea
my daughter, 17, has had nausea for three weeks most likely due to the overuse of painkillers for migraine headaches and NSAIDs. Sucralsate was given to her and now her nausea tripled. Don't know how to undo what has been done. Any suggestions to lessen the nausea either from this or other options. She's on PPI but doesn't seem to be working. It's the nausea that bothering her more than stomach pain. ## Has she tried any alternative antacids, such as Pepcid, which contains the active ingredient Famotidine? In some people, the PPIs can worsen nausea, stomach pain and other symptoms, so they may not be the best choice for them to use. I had a similar problem, until I finally got lucky and an ER doctor determined that the PPI that had been prescribed for me was contributing...
