Why would this drug be used in a weight loss program? ## I honestly can't say, I read over some more information on it just to be certain that I was remembering correctly, but I didn't find anything that made sense for it to be used to aid in weight loss. Learn more Dicyclomine details here. Do you know someone that's using it for that? ## Dicyclomine has been shown to be associated with an increased incidence of anorexia nervosa-like symptoms as a side effect due to the slowing of the peristolsis (locomotion / contractions) of the GI tract. ## It causes the stomach to empty slower which increases the time you feel full. ## Is anyone having severe cramping after u take u. Therefore i would be grateful if any one has the other alternative. ## Spasmo Proxyvon contains the active ingredients Dicyclomine, Acetaminophen and Propoxyphene, and this last one is a mild narcotic and can be addicting. It has been pulled from the market in most countries, due to the risk it causes of cardiac dangers. However, due to that and the fact that you have been taking it for so long, your best chance for stopping this medication is probably to seek medical assistance from a doctor. How Long Will Dicyclomine Hcl Remain Usable Past Expiration Date

how long will dicyclomine hcl remaine usable past expiration date ## Once a medication has expired, it is best to just dispose of it properly. There is no information available to let you know how long it still remains viable and effective past its expiration. The available data for when it expires is just derived from data that only shows the maximum time range for which effectiveness can be guaranteed in regular storage conditions. They are not required to do further testing beyond that and, since they want to see more of any given medication, it wouldn't actually make sense for them to do so. I'm sorry that I don't have a better answer for you. However, once it is expired, it starts to lose effectiveness and should be replaced with new product. Are there any other questio...

dicyclomine for anxiety
2 Replies RSS
I am dealing with tinnitus and I have anxiety issues. My Dr prescribed dicyclomine. Is this going to help, because everything I am reading says this is for IBS? ## Hello, Glenn! How are you? You are correct, that is an odd medication to treat such issues, because it works by causing the smooth muscles of your stomach and intestines to relax according to FDA reports, thus it isn't likely to help with either condition that you are experiencing. Is this the only medication he prescribed? Did you ask him about why he prescribed it? ## I take bentyl.. works good for IBS. But tinnitus?? Nah! Hey Glenn.. Do you have a sister???

Can dicyclomine be used as a muscle relaxer somewhere else besides the intestines, such as the back or legs? Is it helpful for other areas? ## No, it really doesn't, it mainly works on gastrointestinal areas.
