cyclobenzaprine ## Can't wait to receive your daily Newsletter. ## For more information about this drug please see the page: Flexeril ## Be careful with Flexeril. If you are on anti-depressents, ask your doctor. I am on anti-depressents and cannot take Flexeril. Robaxin is better by far.

My husband has a prescription for cyclobenzaprine from 2013 and is haveing an awful muscle spasm can he take one from his old prescription even though it is 2 years old? ## It doesn't become dangerous, once expired, but it does start to lose efficacy, so it most likely won't work as well as it did, when new. He should double check with his doctor, before taking it. The FDA classifies this medication as a muscle relaxant and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am on this medication, taking 5 mg once a day at bedtime. I feel tired all the time and have very little energy. Should I call and talk to my dr? ## Hello, Mama b! How are you? How long have you been taking it? Those are common side effects, as listed by the FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness and dry mouth, but most side effects are transient and will wear off as your body gets used to the medication. This could take about 4 to 6 weeks. Is this the only medication you're taking? ## Hi, I'm still tired! I have been on it for 2 weeks. It is not the only medication I am on but it is one of the 2 new ones I am on . My boy friend is coming off of pain killers , higher doses other known as oxys if he takes these 10mg yellow pills will this mess with him? He is on day 4 ## Cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) is not an opiate, it is a muscle relaxer. ## @Vg (original poster), Please excuse me If I'm misinterpreting your post, as it's very difficult to make complete sense of certain details mentioned within your description re: "My boy friend is coming off of pain killers , higher doses other known as oxys". However, IF your boyfriend was ever intending on taking Cyclobenzaprine with Oxycodone, I personally wouldn't recommend doing so, since there are known drug interactions between the two medications. Specifically, causing an increased risk of side effects, such as drowsiness, difficulty b...

if you say the pill is blue then why are mine gold? ## Hello, Jean! How are you? Cyclobenzaprine is a generic medication, which means it is manufactured by several different companies. This is normal, because it creates market competition to help keep prices down. However, the colors of the tablets are entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufactured, so one may be gold, one blue, one green, one white and so on. What are the markings on the one you're asking about? That is what would enable me to check its contents for you. The FDA classifies this medication as a muscle relaxant and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, headache and dry mouth.

How are you? Actually, you'd be better of with the Ibuprofen if your doctor approves of you taking it, since it is classified by the FDA as an NSAID that is used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation. Cyclobenzaprine, however, is a muscle relaxant, not an analgesic, so it won't do anything to help with a toothache. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. Is there anything e...
