My boy friend is coming off of pain killers , higher doses other known as oxys if he takes these 10mg yellow pills will this mess with him? He is on day 4 ## Cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) is not an opiate, it is a muscle relaxer. ## @Vg (original poster), Please excuse me If I'm misinterpreting your post, as it's very difficult to make complete sense of certain details mentioned within your description re: "My boy friend is coming off of pain killers , higher doses other known as oxys". However, IF your boyfriend was ever intending on taking Cyclobenzaprine with Oxycodone, I personally wouldn't recommend doing so, since there are known drug interactions between the two medications. Specifically, causing an increased risk of side effects, such as drowsiness, difficulty b...

if you say the pill is blue then why are mine gold? ## Hello, Jean! How are you? Cyclobenzaprine is a generic medication, which means it is manufactured by several different companies. This is normal, because it creates market competition to help keep prices down. However, the colors of the tablets are entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufactured, so one may be gold, one blue, one green, one white and so on. What are the markings on the one you're asking about? That is what would enable me to check its contents for you. The FDA classifies this medication as a muscle relaxant and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, headache and dry mouth.

How are you? Actually, you'd be better of with the Ibuprofen if your doctor approves of you taking it, since it is classified by the FDA as an NSAID that is used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation. Cyclobenzaprine, however, is a muscle relaxant, not an analgesic, so it won't do anything to help with a toothache. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. Is there anything e...

Is there a difference in pills marked 283 and 2632? ## Hello, Billie! How are you? The tablet with the marking IG 283 is manufactured by InvaGen Pharmaceuticals and the one with the 2632 V marking is manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals, both of these companies list them as containing 10mgs of Cyclobenzaprine. The FDA classifies this as a muscle relaxant that is used to treat the pain and spasms associated with sprains, strains and injuries. I have taken this pill cyclobenzaprine for back muscle spasams. it says I pill by mouth three times daily as needed. The first pill helped for about 4 hrs and I took a second pill and that lasted about 3 hrs. can I take another pill now to help me sleep ## Hello, Elaine! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain. No, that would be too close together and could create the risk of an overdose. According to the FDA, a 3 times a day dosing should be approximately 8 hours apart, unless your doctor has instructed otherwise. Sometimes, your doctor might designate breakfast, lunch and dinner, or morning, noon and dinner time. Have you asked your doctor for more clarification? Typical side effects to this medication may include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth.

Cyclo/GABA/lido/capsa 10:5:5:0.025% gel. My second gel/ cream is Fl/lid/men/cam 25/5/5/1% PLO. This is a new medication for my neck. How does this medication work and what are possible side affects? ## @machilinda, I've attempted to decipher the abbreviations you mentioned for each individual cream/ointment, but am only finding details on the first one "Cyclo/GABA/lido/capsa" (which I believe translates to cyclobenzaprine + gabapentin + lidocaine + capsaicin). Is there anyway you can confirm if this is true as well as verifying the full spelled out name of the other ointment? Information I gathered on this first cream indicates that it's used topically for pain management. However, concerning possible side effects, there are honestly too many to list outside of the typic...
