what does this mean in the blood results persistent reduction for 3 months or more in an eGFR =60 mL/min/1.73 m2 may also have CKD if ividence of persistent proteinuria is present.
eGFR stands for Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate, it measures how well your kidneys are filtering out and removing waste products from the body.
One that is denoted by >60 could mean there is protein in the urine, which can possibly signal kidney damage. This means your kidneys are allowing protein to be lost from the body.
Only your doctor can really determine if there is a problem, sometimes these results can be caused by medications.
Have you asked them about it?
