Hello, Rich! How are you?
This tablet is manufactured by Dava Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 500mgs of Penicillin. The FDA classifies this medication as an antibiotic and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
The general rule with antibiotics is that if it's working, you shouldn't see any worsening after taking it for a full 24 hours and you should start to see improvement after taking it for a full 3 days.
However, the length of treatment may vary, depending on the infection being treated and its severity, so you should take it for the entire period of time that your doctor has told you to do so.
Is there anything else I can help with?
