Don't accept generic oxycodone 30mg oval blue pill with #224 imprint, they don't relieve pain like the oval blue oxycodone 30mg pills with a M imprint.

Hello! I am very sorry that these tablets didn't work for you.

However, I wonder if you may be incorrectly remembering what you've previously taken?

The M logo is used by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they do not have any oval Oxycodone tablets on the U.S. market.

Is it possible that you were taking something different?

Sorry I also meant to say that it has nothing to do with her building up a tolerance because she had a couple non caraco's left over from her last prescription and they worked perfectly fine.

the first half of my post didn't get posted for some reason but what I said was that my girlfriend filled her prescription of caraco 224's a few days ago and is having the same problem. A simple google search of caraco 224 will show that you and my girlfriend are not alone and it is happening to a lot of people. They definitely do not contain the right amount of oxycodone and are making her very ill

I find that these oxycodone w 224 on one side and scored on other side aren't as potent as they should be. Never had a problem with the smaller normal ones! What's going on?

whoever wrote this doesn't know what they're talking about... of course there is an oxycodone pill on the US market & yes it is malinkroft ... there is an M with a box around it on one side and a 30 with a line under it and nothing on the other side... There a lightish blue whitish pill that are slightly bigger than the regular 30 milligram blues...it's not cool to give false information!!??

The 224 pills are a waste, do not accept them from your pharmacy. They do not contain the right amount of oxcycodone. If they contain enough to be classified as a 10mg I would be surprised.

If it is not brand name then they are not any good. I have felt the difference. If you are poor like me, then you don't have a chance.

I don't really see a difference in the generic opposed to the name brand. Do pharmacies even prescribe name brand medications for certain meds? I think they relieve my pain fine. You must be a pharmaceutical snob.

I agree any generic drug may be from India or some other unsavory company. Use Teva generics, made in Israel or Czech Republic. No issues there.

As a nurse practitioner and pain patient, I can assure you that there are struck standards that the manufacturing companies must go through as the FDA and the manufacturer randomly will test samples for quality control. Generic medications are required to be bioequivalent to be allowed to be sold as generic. That means that tests are ran on humans where their blood is drawn and their serum levels of whatever medication is being tested are tested. The margin of error in serum samples between brand name and generic must be nearly nonexistent.

The generics and the fillers can react different for everyone. Some people can become sick from 1 or more the fillers. It is true however that all drugs evaluated by the FDA must have an equal amount of the active ingredient, in 224 caraco oxycodone 30's. There should be 30 mg of oxycodone. The fillers can slow and in some cases almost seemingly negate the narcotic effect because the persons body does not get along with 1 or more. Try this to change the absorption rate. Dissolve whatever you're dose is in warm water and stir well. Drink and sit down for 15 min.
