Be very careful with this drug. I had no prior history of drug abuse but I got addicted to pain meds while on this for RLS. It is possible they are not connected but I believe strongly that they are. I stopped the miraprex and have not had a relapse with the pain meds yet. It's only been a month but I feel hopeful

Mirapex contains the active ingredient Pramipexole, it isn't currently approved to treat fibromyalgia, but it is being investigated to see if it may help.
Side effects may include nausea, headache, hallucinations and hyperalgesia.
