Losec is listed as containing the active ingredient Omeprazole, this is a proton pump inhibitor, used to help reduce the amount of acid in the stomach, to treat conditions such as GERD and heartburn.
I'm sorry, I haven't been able to find any information regarding the dosage for an infant.
What has your doctor recommended?
Common side effects can include: headache, dizziness, diarrhea and nausea.
