How many pills did they give you? That should help us discover the answer. It's usually prescribed for anywhere from 7 to 14 days and generally they only give you the amount you're supposed to take.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this antibiotic as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
